Here is a vintage meter for the series 920 Electronamic tube& set tester made by the Precision Apparatus Co. of Elmhurst. NY. It measures decibels, AC& DC voltage, ohms, tubes and diodes. It measures 4.625" wide by 4.125" high. It has mounting screw centers of 4" by 3.625" The mounting hardware is included. It has a nice black bakelite case with no cracks, chips or hairlines. The glass cover is in nice shape as well. It has a screw adjustment for zeroing the needle on the front. This would make a great replacement for your non-working meter! But may need a final calibration. The mostly solid oak case will restore very nicely(one or two wood filler blemishes) The built-in tube list scroll works as intended. New feet have been installed on the bottom and hinge panels with Phillips screws. The original slot screws were also replaced on the hinges. Handle and console panel with Phillips screws. This is a fine unit both operationally and cosmetically. I have another good tube tester. But I am still not happy about letting this one go. My loss is your gain. Here we have a Vintage B& K Dyna Quik#650 Vacuum Tube& Transistor Tester B&K Dynamic Mutual Conductance. It comes with: Tube Selector Cards. which you look up your Tube. Then it will tell you the socket you use, heater and sensitivity settings. Also it comes with a B&K CR-57 Adapter. A TV Picture Britener 1B140, Socket L IB3#56 Adapter, Some adapter with no markings on it and a 10J203 Converter. It operates from 110VAC and as you can see from the pictures I have shown it powered up and working. Now I own 2 tubes to my name. One I know is good and the other is bad. If you look at the pictures you will see one tube where it is reading good. and the other is bad. Now I know very little and had to read the instructions on the card to see how it worked. Seemed pretty self explanatory. The two tubes I own fitted into socket 50. ... moreSo I have not tested the other sockets as I have no tube to put in them. I also have not tested any other part of the tester as I have no Transistors. and to be honest. other than the tube testing I am unsure what the rest of it does. Now it does have some cosmetic issues. I purchased it. With a load of other stuff, from an auction. It looks as though it has been recently painted silver. though this looks ok I am not so sure it is original as the handle is blue. Also the hinges on the back either have been moved or they are not the original ones as the are off center and I can see where hinges used to be. Looking at it I thing the old hinges broke and these were put on. The cards, are old on the edges and do fall out the holder quite easy. So please look at the pictures for cosmetic condition. Sorry for the Re-list but I had numerous people making me silly offers so I will let it go to Auction Up for your consideration is my beloved Triplett 3444 Tube Analyzer. This is a True Mutual Conductance tube tester. The unit is perhaps the finest tube tester available or ever produced for the mainstream public and the beauty of this one is that it has been completely refurbished and upgraded by the best in the business on the Triplett 3444 my friends at C. G. Industries in Florida. See the photo of the sticker on the meter it was just calibrated last year and has seen approx. 150 hours use so it is ready to go as it is good for 5000 hrs. after the calibration. That's a lot of tube testing. Tester was brought back to factory specs and I had them add a circuit that doubles the amount of plate current the meter will read. This was done ... moreby replacing the 7 pin straightener with a toggle switch and a new circuit to accommodate the higher readings. Tester is accurate and very simple to operate after you acclimate yourself with it. Two of the pictures show a known good 6SN7 being tested on both plates. No need to move any switches for a double plate tube just grab another lever and you are there. Tester is in excellent working condition as well as very nice cosmetics. Vintage Sencore Mighty Mite Tube Tester. Model# TC-109. Works great. Comes with a tube test set-up manual, instructions are printed on the top panel. Test sockets for 8 pin octal and loctal tubes and 7,9 pin miniature tubes. All controls, switches and sockets were cleaned. Circuit capacitor replaced, new power cord. 7,9 pin sockets replaced. Cover hinge repaired with pop rivet. Printing for D selector letters were replaced with label maker letters. The function control stop doesn't stop but tester still works fine. Great for testing amplifier, audio, hi/fi, stereo, radio and tv tubes. Shows some age but is in overall good condition.

The trimmers that make the adjustments for emissions and grid leakage calibration still have the glue on from the factory and have never been adjusted. Notice the case does have little surface damage. Also the red tube cap lead needs to be soldered back onto the red test lead. There is an adapter for testing Nuvistors and Compactrons. I did not test this adapter. Also did not test the vibrator tester. The chart does scroll freely from end to end. What you see in the pictures is what is in the auction. This is a great looking old model 68 tube tester from the old radio tech's estate. Thia had been in a box for years. The metal holder case is great shape with no dents or bad scratches in it. The latch on the lid works perfectly and holds lid tight closed. Hinges are tight and not loose fitted. This still has all 5 rubber feet that are soft and not cracked or broken. The face plate of this is nearly perfect with no scratches or dirt. The gauge is not cracked or broken and it works. The wires of this are not cracked or broken. I tried this out on a couple different tubes and it worked great on them. All knobs are present and they all move as they are suppose to move. The paper orerating instruction book in the lid is not the best of shape. Some pages are torn and loose from the staples. The leather holder stap on the top of the lid is ... moresoft also. The I-177 tube tester and later versions were designed by and licensed to Hickok using their technology and appears to be completely original. The manual is dated 7 April 1949 24pp. All controls operate and function as they should. The meter movement is smooth and surrounded by a great looking panel. Hickok 538 for Parts or Repair. NO RESERVE There are two transformers in this model and they are both working. That is about the only part you cant replace in these old testers so thats important. Heater voltage OK Plate Voltage OK( above 150 but I didn't use a shunt resistor when checking on a digital meter- so seems like would be about 150) Screen voltage OK Bias changes with bias control( about-40 at max) Meter appears functional and moves when switch is in the VOM function. Meter does not move when P4 is pressed in tube mode. You can hear the tranny hum change sound a little when P4 is pressed so I believe the tube is under test conditions just not getting to the meter. Likely location is the mode switch but its pretty buried under the VOM section and I didn't want to damage it as Im not familiar with that portion of this Hickok. ... moreso Im passing this along to someone who may be better equipped to fix. case is in fair condition. This auction is for a Hickok TV-7 Tube Tester. The TV-7 series of testers was well known for their reliability. Durability and ruggedness. These military grade testers were made by several sub-contractors, but Hickok was the original designer. The tester offered in this auction is the original model TV-7 and it was a back-up to a duplicate that I use in my repair/restoration business. This unit was thoroughly checked for proper operation and accuracy, all switches were cleaned and checked for proper operation and a calibration was performed to check for correct plate, screen, and bias voltages. All tube sockets were cleaned. I tested a variety of 7, 9, 8 pin octal and some vintage 4 and 5 pin tubes of known quality. The tester is performing correctly and accurately. During its military service it was updated to a 3 prong grounded power cord, ... morethis rig runs on 120 VAC. The picture of the case shows this as an"A" model, but it is actually a straight TV-7 and all pictures of the front panel and chassis are of a straight TV-7. The case was probably switched out at some repair depot some years ago. Exterior condition is very clean, minor scratches as is typical, all knobs move with positive detents, there is no wear around the knobs on the front panel which shows this unit was used very little. The tester comes with a new tube spec book and one plate/grid test lead. The unit has been thoroughly run and will give many years of good service. Unit is packed very securely in a foam lined box. Vintage Hickok dynamic mutual conductance model 532 tube tester
Hello. Up for sale is a Vintage Hickok Model 532 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. This unit does not come with a case. It has been panel mounted in my shop until I recently moved. This listing is For Parts not Working. However. The only flaw I am aware of is that it cannot power the heaters of any 12.6V tubes, like 12ax7's etc. This unit does test 6.3v tubes and I use it regularly to test 6l6's, el34's, and other common octal power pentode's. If you look at the last picture. You will see a switch that I think is the culprit of why the 12.6V heater circuit is not working. Maybe you have one: I think this price is fair. Gain and transconductance characteristics of B9A double triodes with the standard ECC83/ ECC88 footprint. Controls and indicators Test selector The test selector selects between: Cathode current. This is a direct reading of the DC cathode(and anode) current passing through the section of the valve under test in mA. Transconductance. In this test an AC signal is fed to the grid. And the resultant AC current at the cathode is amplified and rectified to give a reading. This is one RARE bird of a tube tester! Eico 650 Dyna Quik. Recapped and cleaned! Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. Will easily do GOOD/BAD tests or Gm testing just by adjusting the Sensitivity potentiometer. Very easy to use! Tests both sides of a dual triode(6SN7.12AX7, 12AU7,etc) with the flick of a single switch. In the pictures you can see me testing both sides of a 6SN7 that is very well balanced. Only about 50Gm difference from one side to the other. Overall 7.5 to 8 out of 10 condition. Comes with Setup book and Mercury AD-4 Adapter for compactrons. Case shows some age but still in better condition than most old tube testers. Comes with a good. tested 83 rectifier tube and a good tested 6AT5. Mutual Conductance tests appear within 100Gm of my calibrated Hickok USM118B and my calibrated TV7D Testers. 100Gm is ridiculously close ... morewhen comparing tube testers! The meter plastic was damaged somewhat by having the power cord touching it in the case.

Vintage EICO 625 Tube Tester Restored and Calibrated
Here for your consideration is a good working. Guaranteed Eico model 625 tube tester. This is a great tester for musicians. Hi-Fi owners, Hams, hobbyists, tube collectors, etc. This tester has been professionally repaired and tested for calibration. It tests most popular audio and radio tubes. Including 6L6, 6V6, 6550, EL34, 6CA7, 6BQ5/EL84, 12AX7, 12AT7, most rectifier tubes, etc. It also tests the old four, five and six pin tubes, as well as seven and nine pin miniatures and loctals. There is no socket for compactrons, although Eico made an adapter(model 610) which sometimes shows up on Ebay. This is an emission tester. It does not measure transconductance like much more expensive Hickoks. But it will certainly tell you if your tubes are good or bad, and check for shorts. If you are in the business of selling tubes, you need a Hickok. If ... moreyou just need to know the basic condition of your tubes, then this tester will work fine for you. You can test tubes very fast with this tester. It is easy to set up and use. It is also not as susceptible to damage from incorrect setups as some testers. An inexperienced user can easily damage a Hickok. I have repaired and restored this tester to good working condition. The Carbon composition resistors that affect calibration have usually drifted badly out of tolerance on these testers. I replace them with modern 2% tolerance resistors. The tester is now very accurate. I have owned several of these. As well as several Hickoks, and it reads consistent with all of them. I replaced the old two-wire AC line cord with a grounded three-wire cord for your safety. I replaced the test leads with good quality test prod wire. One of the top cap connectors is chipped. But it does not affect it's function. I replaced some missing knobs using correct types. I also repainted the outer case which had some rust. Tube emission is indicated on a large meter and a neon bulb shows shorts in tubes. I purchased this tester several years ago at Hamfest. The internal wiring was in poor condition due to age and poor wiring practice by the original assembler. I replaced most of the original wires with new vinyl insulated wiring and added a terminal board to better organize the wiring and on which to secure the several resistors. Also improved the bearing arrangement of the chart rollers for smoother action. Refurbished tester has been tested with several tubes from an early short wave receiver and it appears to function as designed. The tester is enclosed in a painted steel case ... morewith some discoloration as shown in the photos. No cover. Very good condition cosmetically considering its age. You are viewing a very nice classic vintage tube tester which performs as well as it looks! Not the cheap emission type tester. But you knew that. Tests the more recent vintage tubes as well as the older 4 pin tubes(201A,etc. that were in my Atwater Kent model 20 that I restored. Comes with original Eico construction manual as well as 2 or 3 tube data setup manuals. Very rugged and fairly heavy. Also pictured is a rare,sold separately and optional Eico 610 plug in tester for nuvistors. I have not tested it. I will sell to 666 purchaser for $20 prior to separate eBay listing later. Vintage Heathkit Tube Tester. Model# TC-3. Works great. Has a built in roll chart for tube test set-up. Test sockets for: 8 pin octal and loctal sockets, 4, 5, 6, 7 pin early type tubes and 7,9 pin miniature tubes. All switches, controls and sockets have been cleaned. Circuit capacitor replaced. Roll chart works very well, window and good power cord. Great for testing amplifier, audio, hi/fi, stereo, guitar amp, radio and tv tubes. Shows some age, but is in overall very good condition.
