TV-7D/U Tube tester in a TV-7 outer metal case. Name plate is missing. The manual and manual supplement looks old and appears to be original. The TV-7 schematic is in pieces. So I put a piece of masking tape on it for now. The innards show you that the guts are TV-7D/U. The meter also says TV-7D/U. It has one extra"F" range not found in non-D TV-7 testers. Made in 1965. It passes line test. I have two more images showing the tube tester testing a 12AX7 and an EF86(12AX7 and EF86 not included) Last calibrated about 12 years ago so I cannot guarantee the accuracy anymore. This instrument should be calibrated by a qualified serviceperson before use. This item will be repatriated(no duties charged) when shipped to the United States. Combined shipping is welcome. Triplett I-177B Military Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Works Great& Calibrated Triplett I-177-B U.S. Army Signal Corps Mutual Conductance Tube Tester The 83 and 5y3 look as though they are the original tubes and both have MFP(mold and fungus protection) on them. It is in good working order, the only issue was that I could not get the acorn cap connectors to register with the tubes that require it, it might be something as simple as a short in the wire connection but I cannot say for sure, all other test functions of the unit seem to work just fine though I cannot verify if calibration is accurate. ... moreCosmetically it shows typical signs of age/use. All intact, no dents or mishandling, please see photographs for cosmetic disclosure. The power cable is currently usable but cracked in some places. Up for your consideration is this vintage 1950 United States military dynamic mutual conductance tube tester. Model I-177-B manufactured by Simpson. There are several versions of this tube tester that were contracted and manufactured by several different companies. Some of the more common were Daven and Triplett. Even though they were manufactured by different companies. They still had to adhere to the strict military specifications. The only thing that varied from one manufacturer to another was the components used in assembling them. What is nice about this set is it was manufactured by Simpson(somewhat rarer) It is the same company that built another fine tank, the beloved Simpson 260 multi-meter. I tested this tube tester under normal conditions and allowed it to warm up for 15 minutes. I tested it with known condition tubes and it worked ... moresatisfactory. The line cord is a little dried out and should be replaced. It cracks a little when straightening it out. As with any vintage electronic piece of test equipment. I would I HIGHLY recommend getting it tuned up and CALIBRATED. There are no guarantees with this set. It is being sold"as-is" 0fe.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fuk%601d70f%2B%3E0fe-1498923c96e-0x114-

This tester was my own for many years. It has not seen difficulty duty. It has no dents or dings. But the paint is of course nicked in places due to its time in the Army. I've included a fresh(Oct/2014) calibration. The 83 rectifier tube tests almost as new. All controls are intact and not chipped or broken. Calibration using Nelson Cal tubes was excellent. I also tested it against my Hickok 752A tester and my TV-10D/U tester. All sockets are tight. You won't find a better example of the TV-7A/U anywhere. DESCRIPTION Refurbished& Calibrated TV-7A/U Military Mutual Conductance Calibration on a tester costs approximately $245- you are getting that as part of this auction and the test result sheet is included. Tester is ready to go- nothing for you to do. Tester Schematic(as printed by Hickok) original to this tester was glued to ... morethe inside base of the unit. I removed it because the back was starting to deteriorate. But it is included and was laminated by the manufacturer. You won't find this in many of the 7/Us out there- long gone! Has the advantage of being able to test older tubes as well as newer styles. Tests for Mutual Conductance. Leakage, Gas, Noise, and Remaining Life. NEVER TEST FOR MUTUAL CONDUCTANCE BEFORE DOING A SHORTS TEST! Military Construction by Hickok. In a very compact aluminum case. Highest Quality Components- They continue to work many years after manufacture- a testament to their quality. Calibration Results Shown in Picture and included. Additional test manual included(Blue manual) see pictures. Original manual in the lid is in good condition also. The power lead has not been replaced- never saw a need to. It is in good condition. A three prong cord and plug could be fit to it. But there really isn't a need to do so. INCLUDED Test Data Booklet in the lid(original) Test data and manual reprint(blue) bound. Two test leads(as original had) Two pin straighteners mounted in lid. Four(4) tube adapters. Laminated original mfr schematic. Calibration Sheet. PAYMENT& SHIPPING
