Here is a vintage. Working tube tester by Precision. It could like use a calibration, but I tested a couple tubes with it and everything seems to be working well. The lead for tubes having a top contact has come free from the actual cap that goes on the tube, but it will be inluded and can be repaired. There are also some documents and an adapter. Vintage PRECISION APPARATUS CO Series 920 Electronamic Tube and Set Tester
For your consideration is one vintage Precision Apparatus Company series 920 Electronamic Tube and Set Tester. It weighs almost 15 lbs. unpacked. The case laying down is 12 3/4" wide x 13 3/4" deep x 6" tall. The wood case has scratches from use and one tiny chip. Shown in the pictures, but is intact. The AC cord is dried out and should be replaced. The"line adjust" control and knob are missing, the 2 wires that were attached to it inside are taped off. The cabinet had 2 sets of 4 rubber feet originally. The four when sitting horizontally are all removed. There is one of the four missing for vertical position. It looks like there was a metal label on the outside gone as well. I don't see why someone with a little electronics savvy wouldn't be able to fix this with little effort.

I tested it with a 6au6 and a 5V4 and both tested as they should. No other testing was done. Short indicator works and has new capacitor. Line adjust works fine.

Up for bids is an old Precision Apparatus Company Series 920 Tube and Set Tester in original wood case. Also included with this tester are the Tester Manual. Two 8-pin to 7-pin adaptors and an old tube socket. The manual includes all the settings for most tubes as well as complete tester instructions. This tube tester also has the scroll with the tube settings on it and a battery tester. The scroll still works very well. The case is missing the handle and there is a couple of places where the veneer has peeled off. The case also shows wear as if it was well used at one time. The unit seems to function just fine. Xtra roller chart and supplemental chart. This is in a wooden case and appears to be in good physical condition. The only testing I have done is to plug it in and watch the red light come on. Welcome-up for bids is a Series 920 Electronamic tube tester. Made by the Precision Apparatus Company in New York. Circa 1940 This tube tester has NOT been tested. Mostly because of the frayed electric cord. I have no reason to believe it will not work. Purchased from an estate auction from a 60yr old that suddenly passed away. He had 100's of these types of things(Ohm meters, volt meters, tube testers, etc) Look carefully at the pictures. As mentioned. The cord is frayed. It is missing one of the little rubber"feet-stoppers" on the back edge of the lid. It is also missing the handle. The case is a poor/fair condition, considering its age. The scroll moves freely and all the knobs turn easily. Box measures about 13x13x6 and weighs a good 15lbs. Most economically way to ship this would be FedEX. But will give a Priority Mail ... moreoption as well. with packing material, it will weigh about 20lbs.
