1970's Mercury 2000 Mutual Conductance tube tester gas + grid circuit analyzer
Mercury 2000 tube and transistor tester with all manuals and updates. This tester works great. The case is solid. But the covering shows signs of wear from years of use. The plastic carry handle was cracked in the middle, so I removed it. Buyer could easily either replace handle with a leather strap or piece of rope, as metal rings are present. The unit has not been fully tested however it was given a detailed inspection. The unit contains 2 tubes. The tubes was removed. Tested and reinstalled(1ea 6AF6G– Strong and 6J5- Strong) The unit was plugged in and it did power up. All of the dials and buttons moves smoothly and lines up properly with required settings. The carrying strap on top of unit is in tact and in good shape. The original price was $29.00. Excellent edition to any vintage radio collector and or radio/component repairer.
