Cosmetically the tester is in nice condition. The roll chart rolls freely. I cleaned all the switches and put a new power cord on this tube tester. The electronics inside are very clean. This tester will test almost any tube. This unit will test 4 pin. 5 pin, 6 pin, 7 pin, octal, loctal, 7 pin miniature, 9 pin, and many other tubes. This unit is missing the cover. This unit works great and readings are comparable to readings on my Hickok 539A and my TV-7/B. I tested the following tubes and had good results: 5Y3. 6L6, 6V6, 6SN7, 6DJ8 and 12AX7. Up for auction is this great Hickok 600A Dynamic Mutual Conductance tube tester. It is overall in great condition with only light scratching on the top cover as shown. The front face with the controls is in great condition. All of the knobs are in place and the roll chart works good too. As for the working condition. I am not sure but it plugged it in and could get a reading with the line adjustment although the meter movement sticks some. I did not attempt to test any tubes but I'm sure with some TLC this could be made into a great tester for you. You are bidding on a Dyna-Quik Model 700 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester with Manual. I have tested 4 tubes on this tester(6SN7.5V4, 12BY7, 6L6) Those are sockets 25,33,9, and 29. I have not tested the rest of this unit with the exception of number 8 which I found was not working when I tried to test a 12ax7. I replaced two tubes in this tester a#83 and a 6BN8. The tester works as seen in the pictures with a 6SN7 tube. The circuit transfer works on this unit as well. The gauge is faded on the replaced(not good tube side) but is still functional. Since I have not completely tested this unit I am selling this as is for parts or repair. It comes with a manual as seen in the pictures. I have 2 HICKOK TESTERS I will be listing tonight. I acquired these from a lady whose father had been a Radio/ TV Repairman in Ohio back in the 1940's& 50's. These were his personal testers and were in working order when they moved here to Florida in the late 1950's and they have been sitting in her garage ever since then. It Measures 17" X 11" X 8" Cosmetically. It appears in very nice condition, some light surface rust ina fw spots but no dings or damage. The case is complete and has normal age related ... morewear. The Adapter aslo appears in good condition, the red electric cord has a small split causing the cloth around the wire inside to be exposed but not the wire itself. The Adapter Box is very fragile and was in pieces when I got it. As shown, I have taped it all back together and, while not cosmetically appealing, it is now functional. There is some paper work with the Adapter(see Photo) and a plastic Instruction Manual Card. Sencore MU150 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester (For Parts/Repair)
SENCORE M TUBE TESTER(FOR PARTS/REPAIR) Sold as parts/repair unit- no refunds. This was near the top of the line(if not THE top of the line) tube tester in the Sencore line. Produced in the 1960's I believe. When fully working, this model is capable of testing for dynamic mutual conductance, emissions, shorts, life test, and grid leakage. Good physical condition. With some signs of rust on metal/chrome band that goes around the case. Handle/latches work fine. Unit weighs about 22lbs by itself. Opened up the unit to take a picture of internals for potential buyers. Saw one resistor(upper left in photo) that appeared to have some signs of overheating. And one of the tubes(upper one in picture) appears to have some white residue inside(not sure if that's normal or sign of a bad tube) Shipping charge is set for cross-country charge. Vintage Hickok dynamic mutual conductance model 532 tube tester
Hello. Up for sale is a Vintage Hickok Model 532 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. This unit does not come with a case. It has been panel mounted in my shop until I recently moved. This listing is For Parts not Working. However. The only flaw I am aware of is that it cannot power the heaters of any 12.6V tubes, like 12ax7's etc. This unit does test 6.3v tubes and I use it regularly to test 6l6's, el34's, and other common octal power pentode's. If you look at the last picture. You will see a switch that I think is the culprit of why the 12.6V heater circuit is not working. Maybe you have one: I think this price is fair. Tests the more recent vintage tubes as well as the older 4 pin tubes(201A,etc. that were in my Atwater Kent model 20 that I restored. Comes with original Eico construction manual as well as 2 or 3 tube data setup manuals. Very rugged and fairly heavy. Also pictured is a rare,sold separately and optional Eico 610 plug in tester for nuvistors. I have not tested it. I will sell to 666 purchaser for $20 prior to separate eBay listing later. This is an almost pristine HICKOK 800K tube tester. My grandfather purchased this brand new and used and very little. He stored it inside its entire life. I used it to check some tubes of my own and all of the functions. Dials and rollers work perfectly. I have three tube setting books I am including in this auction. This listing is for a Western Electric KS-15750-L1 Hickock 539 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. I got this with a store I just recently purchased. Look for some REALLY interesting items in the coming months! While this tester is nice enough to reside in a museum. It deserves to be used analyzing tubes as its capabilities are significantly better than those of your garden variety tube tester! As the label says. It was made by Hickock specifically for Western Electric. It was used in a laboratory at the Bell System. It was not trotted about very much, as the case is in very good condition. Electrically it is the same as my old 539 but has a separate meter for Grid Bias and a separate meter for the AC Line adjust. In addition. It dispenses with the"English" pot, the"Good/Bad" Emission Test rating, and depends upon ... morethe user to understand the meaning of the Gm reading. Gm ranges are from 3.000 full scale to 60,000 full scale, with selection of high and low signal tube types. Filament voltage is selectable from 1.1 volts to 117 volts. Grid bias is fully adjustable in two ranges. 0 to 6 and 0 to 60 volts. There is also an option for testing in self-bias mode. This tester also allows you to plug in a headphone to the"Noise Test" pin jacks and listen to the tube. Either in static operation for random noise or in a test wherein you tap the tube and listen for microphonics(a very important test) Unlike most Hickock testers. With this model allows you to lock the P4 test position by pressing"P4 Lock" This allows you to watch tube operation over time without needing to hold the P4 button. Pressing any other button releases the"P4 Lock" This is in very good. Dare I say exceptional condition. All switches and pots are crisp in operation and not erratic. Beautiful condition used Hickok 533A vacuum tube tester. 2 capacitors look to have been replaced. This tester is in good basic working order. And very clean! It powers up, goes up to line test, and tests a known good 6L6 tube strong. roll chart is tight and rolls freely. Most tube testers sold will need to be calibrated. its a given. Unless the seller can provide you with the calibration specs. Almost any tube tester will need calibrated. this tester hasnt been used in years, but does test well. Look for some REALLY interesting items in the coming months! Filament voltage is selectable from 0.6 volts to 117 volts. This tester includes a VOM for measuring voltage. Current, resistance and current plus it has a capacitance measurement circuit. This is in very good condition with only a few nicks to the case. All switches and pots are crisp in operation and not erratic. I cleaned all switches and pots plus the sockets. Tube sockets are as tight as they should be. For sale is a vintage Hickock model 532 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. The tester does power up when you turn it on and I could not see any reason why it would not work. I am not at all familiar with this machine and don't know what buttons to push to do a real test with it. I do have a box of tubes if someone would like to tell me how to do it. I would be more than glad to do that for you. I plugged it in and noticed the light when I turned the power on. To me. That would be a very good indication that it does work properly. Hickok Model 600A Micromho Dynamic Mutual Conductance Vacuum Tube Tester
If you are looking for a tester with a nice case. This is not the one. The case is in terrible condition. It is intact enough to safely house the tester, it just doesn't look nice. I don't know if all functions are working. I am capable of; finding a tube number in the scroll. Plug the tube in, make the listed settings, push the listed button, and read the meter, good or replace. Other then setting the line adjust, this is all that I have the knowledge to do. I do not know how accurate it is, as I don't have a tube of a known condition or another tester to compare to. The face of the tester in in pretty good condition. It has definitely had some use. As you can see wear marks around the switches wear fingers have rubbed on it. There is a lens missing over the bias fuse, and the power cord is pretty cracked up and should be replaced ... moreas well as the short test lead. The metal name plate that is supposed to be glued under the lid has come off. The tube sockets seemed to work fine on the two I tried, but all look like they have light corrosion on the contacts. The scroll is complete and works well, it gets a little harder to roll as you approach the ends. There is some writing in pencil on the back of the face. I will wrap up the two tubes underneath to be sure they are not damaged during shipping. BE SURE TO OPEN AND REMOVE THE PACKAGING MATERIAL BEFORE USE! Vintage HICKOK Model 540 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Radio Amp Stereo
Here's an interesting early HICKOK tube tester model 540. It tests early 4 pin tubes through those of the octal era. I have not done exhaustive testing nor did I evaluate all test settings but the instrument did power on and I was able to test a few tubes. Pictured is a 6F6 under test. The resulting meter deflection appears reasonable but the tube tester has not been recently calibrated. The test meter is contained within a carrying case. The handle is tattered but functional and the tolex-like covering is worn in spots but overall not bad. It measures 14 1/2" x 15 3/4" x 7" not including the handle. This tester is being offered AS IS. FOR PARTS OR RESTORATION.

Item: Hickok 752 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Tester w Manual and Charts. The unit was powered up and tested some 12AX7 and 12AU7 tubes. It seems to work as it should, tested a new 5V3 tube and it tested it as new. I'm not a tech, so it was not checed for calibration. Most likely it will need control pots cleaned and calibration to bring it to new specs. Some wear is seen on the face and case. Extra bulbs included. Allows testing of 12AX7 tubes both sections without resetting the machine. This is vintage audio gear. It has not been refurbish or restored in anyway. The testing involves plugging it in, hooking up speakers and an input source if needed then describing as accurately as possible what I see. There is a section for Selectors& Chart, but there is no levers for both. It also includes the roll chart for it. The power cord and one other short connector cord is included. Serial#18711127. This is a Hickok 6000a tube tester that is in great working condition. I no longer will have a use for it. It functions great and allows you to test a wide variety of tubes. The roll chart rolls very easy and the outer casing has some rubs. The power cord shows wear, tears etc.

Up for your consideration is this vintage Hickok tube tester(model 533A) Known to be last working fine. Before the bias pot was removed for replacement- which never happened. The faulty pot was discarded and is not included. Easy to install. Last calibrated about ten years ago. Clean face, no major blemishes or issues except what can be seen on the OUTSIDE of the case(see pics) Simple to use micromhos meter with good or bad readout makes testing tubes so easy a child could do it! I also believe this sat in their large storage area for almost 20 years or possibly even more, seeing absolutely no use during all that time! When I acquired it around 1998 I completely disassembled and properly cleaned everything.including all of the controls with mild contact cleaner to remove any oxidation.Before I plugged it in. I did this just for a matter of course, not because it was exceptionally dirty or in need of service! In the last 17 years or so I have used this to test about 100 tubes.maybe. I bought this at a recent estate sale.The previous owner had several testers.This one was in a box and was very dirty.I gave is a cursory wipe down,checked to see if it had tubes,put a fuse bulb in it and tried to power it up. Nothing. The 83 tube doesn't look too good and I don't have another one so that's the only testing that was done to it. I don't have time for another project so I'm passing it along. A few things I noticed: First off.This tester does not power up! The meter needle seems to move freely and when the adjustment screw is turned it does move. This is in incredible condition and came from an estate with other working items including a Seco Tester which works great. So it is assumed to be working. Mercury Model 1000 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester - not working properly
This is a great Mercury 1000 dynamic mutual conductance tube tester. I have replaced the electrolytic caps. The diode rectifier, and the lamps. It used to work perfectly, but then suddenly the needle starting pulling backwards with octal tubes. I know this is an easy fix for the right person, but I don't have the desire to chase the problem down when I already have other working testers. Snag this one that has already been re-capped. Find the bad resistor(most likely) and you'll have a great tester for much less than a working one. Comes with the original tube chart and a photocopy of the manual. Complete with schematic.

Vintage Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester I-177-B Signal Corps
I-177-B Tube Tester by Daven looks GREAT under the lid! Appears to be all original and used very little. When I plugged it in it did not power up. All the panel screws are in place and not buggered up. I'm thinking the toggle power switch may be stuck internally and some contact cleaner may free it up- I'll report back. Also one knob is missing on the micro-mhos switch. The cover could be straightened but it closes easily and the latches work as-is. Jackson 658 Dynamic Mutual Conductance tube tester
I have several tube testers on auction today. This one is a Jackson 658 Dynamic Mutual Conductance tester. I have gone through this tester and replaced all old school rectifiers with new silicone rectifiers, I have also replaced all out of tolerance Capacitors and resistors as well as the AC cord. I have cleaned and tightened all sockets and switches and calibrated it so it is ready to go. The only thing wrong with it is that about 1/2" of the tip of the meter needle has been broken off& is missing.THIS HOWEVER has NO EFFECT on the FUNCTIONALITY of the METER. THIS UNIT HAS THE VERY RARE"POWER SCROLL CHART"push the button and it automatically goes forward or back! The unit itself is in excellent condition. The case is also in good sound condition although the tolex covering is quite shabby though there are no MAJOR chunks ... moremissing. Guaranteed to perform as described.
