B& K Dyna Jet Tube Tester- Model#606 Working vintage 1970's tube tester. Good condition with a few flaws- please read description. This is in pretty good shape for it's age. The plastic rim around the top cap is broken- it will still plug on and make connection fine. There is some damage where the electrical cord(that plugs into the wall) comes out of the testing unit, the rubbery coating around that is loose. This unit measures 11" x 8.5" and is 4.5" deep(when all closed up) The case shows wear. The snap closure works perfect and keeps the unit secure. The hinges on the back are in great shape as well as the 4 metal feet on the back of the case. The setup chart manual is 50 pages, it is very worn, the cover and back have seperated. Here's a very nice Heathkit TC-2 tube tester in full-working condition. The light-up data roller is very cool. The unit has been tested with new-old tubes and found to read within manufacturer specs. This is an emissions-type tester. So it doesn't test for mutual conductance. It comes with the original users manual(not pictured) and tube-data update booklets. The plate-clip lead wire has some brittle insulation that can be taped or replaced. Please make sure the item is suitable for your needs. Conar model 223 vacuum tube tester. Included are the assembling and using manual and a sumplementary tube setting chart in addition to the built in scroll. I tested this unit with a good and bad 12AX7 and 6L6 tube. The good 12AX7 tested good and the shorted 12AX7 tested shorted. The good 6L6 tested weaker than it should have so I tried another one with the same results. They both tested just in the green but test strong on my Hickok 539C. Not sure what is going on there and I don't know if it could be adjusted. The shorted 6L6 tested shorted. I also tried a 6Y6 and it tested weaker than it should also. So what you see is what you get. Up for sale is a working B&K Dyna Jet 607 Tube Tester. This unit is B&K's clone of the Sencore Mighty Might VII(TC162) You can see an excellent write-up of this unit at TubeSound's website: Overall. This tester is in decent condition and works. The lid has a crack in one of the corners and the case has seen some use. The case is a hard plastic and has held up well. For details of overall condition, please see the pictures. I tested a few tubes- 6A8, 6L6, 6BQ5(EL84) 6CA7(EL34) 6AU6, 6BZ6 and 6JM6. The unit worked for all of these tube types. I posted pictures of some of these tests. The lockout switches and all controls work as they should. I did not extensively test all sockets and settings because there's just too many. The short and power lights work. The leakage and quality tests worked for all the tubes I tested. The grid clip is a new replacement, not original. Included with the tester is an original Setup Guide which is in good shape and very legible. And a bound copy of the Instruction Manual. The manual includes a calibration procedure, parts list and schematic. The schematic is hard to read. I guarantee this tester to be working(not DOA) The Short and Leakage readings are accurate. I tested every socket except#8 for which I don't have any tubes. I checked the wiring to#8 and it looks fine. In the unusual case that you need to test a 5BC3 tube. I'm pretty sure this socket will also work. The lockout switches and all controls work as they should. Everything tested worked as it should. I calibrated the short and grid leakage circuits. I checked the test voltage-load combinations for all LOAD settings A through J. All voltages and resistive loads were well within spec. The original meter was broken and I replaced it with a new meter. It had the same rating but a different faceplate. So I made a faceplate for it to match the B&K original. The grid clip is also a new replacement and not original. Included with the tester is an original Setup Guide which is in good shape. A little dirty from use but very legible. Rare and Vintage B&K Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. Model 707 Dyna Jet. Made in the USA. Machine powers on. All lights and knobs seem to function as they should. Tested with tube and lit tube up to test. Not sure of the specific functions to fully test but sensitivity knob was moving the needle when adjusting with proper tube inserted. Machine will need some cleaning and calibration. Outside of the case will need to be re-wrapped or have the wood stained. Comes with tube chart manual(wear) and accessory. Vintage Heath Co. Heathkit Vacuum Tube Tester Checker Model TC-2 With Manual This is a nice vintage Heathkit TC-2 tube tester. It has only been tested to power up. It does power up with no issues. The light behind the tube list comes on and the needle on the meter goes to the yellow area when powered up. No further testing has been done. Overall this does have wear but looks good for its age. Outside case is original and has general surface wear. Corners are beat up and one is especially torn. Looks like someone added tape all the way around or it was put there by the company(looks decorative) Overall size is 14 1/2" x 12" x 6 1/2" The lid inside has a place where it is gaping but still sealed from outside. see last pic) A bit musty smelling.No burning smell hisses or noise.
