This is a vintage electronic tube tester set in the original wooden box. The box is in rough shape but still sound. There is a handle on the case that is in good condition. The unit comes with 2 different plug-in cables with 3 different adapters as well as the power plug. The unit powers up when plugged in. And by moving a few switches I see the"leakage" light illuminate as well. I have no other way of testing the operation of this unit but it does turn on. It also comes with the original Manual. We describe everything we sell as accurately as possible and will be happy to answer any questions you have before or after the sale. Up for sale here is a vintage Precision Model 612 tube and battery tester. The buy it now price on this is only $50. Look at what these sell for, this is a great bargain. This is in as found condition I have done no work on it and I am not really qualified to. My advice to any potential bidders on this item or ... moreany vintage electronic item like this is have a qualified professional replace out of spec caps and resistors before you put this into regular service. These are very simple devices that will last a long time if properly maintained. I did replace the faceplate screws because some of the originals were missing and others were chewed up so I replaced them and the replacements look great. I powered this up and tested a 12ax7. 5U4 and 6SN7 that had already been tested on my professionally calibrated tube testers and found this tester to generally be in agreement with my testers. In order for this tester to be put into regular service it needs the sockets cleaned as well as the contacts on the switches& the potentiometers could use some Deoxit. The roll chart works fine and doesn't slip or bind but the plastic cover is yellowed and it can be tough to see the setup info. There is no manual but there is a supplemental chart included. There is a split in one side of the wooden case but overall the case is solid. This is a nice little tester for either parts or restoration.

Up for auction. We have a vintage Precision Tube Tester! Model 612, comes with a wooden carrying case. Both latches work sufficiently, and all knobs and levers seem to work as should, but the end of the plug in has been removed(chewed through by mice perhaps? and it will need to be replaced to see if the machine works. Everything appears to be normal, and it comes with many different bulbs and attachments. Weighs 14 pounds 13 ounces. Measures 14 inches by 13 inches by 6 1/2 inches. VINTAGE SUPREME 89 TUBE TESTER CONTAINED IN WOODEN BOX
Very nice early tube tester Supreme model 89. According to the excellent website"supremeinstruments.org" Supreme 89 1936 The Supreme 89 tube tester not only tests tubes but also has a voltmeter. Ohmmeter, and performs leakage tests on electrolytic capacitors. The tube chart is on the inside of the case lid. You can download it from the mentioned site. The meters works fine and the transformer is OK. I have leads as you can see in my picture. Cosmetically it is in very good condition(for the age) inside and outside ONE BURM MARK ON TOP, please, see pictures. The carrying leather handle is broke. A beautiful collectible too. VINTAGE READRITE MODEL 430 TUBE TESTER WOODEN CASE AND TUBE CHARTS
Original wooden case for Readrite tube tester 430. I think it is the same for the model 431, but the tube charts that came along with it is for the 430. There is some hardware which I believe is related to the 430 as well. Aside a few nicks, it is in good condition, it should look great refinished.
