I was not able to test this unit. It powered on and had no funny burning smells when plugged in. I know nothing about tube testers and had no tubes to test. THIS UNIT WILL BE SOLD AS IS! I took many pictures of the cosmetic condition of the unit so PLEASE LOOK AT THEM IN DETAIL SO YOU WILL BE AWARE OF THEM BEFORE BUYING. THE HINGES AND LATCHES AND HANDLE OF THE CASE ARE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER BUT HAVE RUST. There are spots on the units face and on the plastic gauge cover- could be paint splatter. Mid 1960's business executive's briefcase, in both size and style. this decked out machine looks more at home in a mid-century office, than on at the electronics tech's bench. Very cool to use and look at, these are verifiably collectible. The appeal does not end there. it's the flagship Sencore tube tester- very expensive when new- not as popular as competitor's B&K models- and much more involved and capable. Sencore went the high road with aesthetics. And sold these back in the 1960s for huge money. They staged education seminars for technicians back then, showing off all of the advanced features the MU150 had, compared to other types of portables. Age: 1960's? Test sockets for 8 pin octal and loctal tubes and 7,9 pin miniature tubes. All controls, switches and sockets were cleaned. Circuit capacitor replaced, new power cord. 7,9 pin sockets replaced. Cover hinge repaired with pop rivet. Printing for D selector letters were replaced with label maker letters. The function control stop doesn't stop but tester still works fine. Great for testing amplifier, audio, hi/fi, stereo, radio and tv tubes. Shows some age but is in overall good condition.

The meter zero potentiometer seems to be a little dirty. It jumps around a little when you use it but you can zero out the meter with it. VINTAGE SENCORE MIGHTY MITE V TC142 RADIO/TV VACUUM TUBE CHECKER TESTER
This is a working Sencore Mighty Mite V vacuum tube checker TC 142. Complete with the case and manuals. This will test all of the tubes used in portable radios. Auto radios, Hi-Fi sets, and television sets. This unit is able to test over 3000 different tubes. Unlike older models, this will test for leakage and gas between the control grid and other elements, shorts between all elements, leakage between cathode and heater of 180,000 ohms plus the all important cathode emission test. This is a very important tube checker to have at your disposal if you're in the business of selling a lot of tubes on Ebay, since you'll be able to guarantee the performance of the tubes you're selling. Vintage Sencore TC142 Mighty Mite V Radio TV Tube Checker Tester Booklet Case. Vintage Sencore TC142 Mighty Mite V Radio TV Tube Checker Tester Booklet Case- Great vintage item. It is in really nice condition. With only minor surface wear to the case. It has been very well taken care of. The worst thing I see is that the back cover of the booklet got stuck to the inside of the case at some point so there is some paper stuck there from where it was pulled off. Book is still fully legible and can still clip into place. The unit itself looks great. This unit was tested and works as it should. It is actually pretty easy to use. I had never used one and was able to use the book and test a couple of tubes in about 10 minutes. Box B451.11. Generally items are shipped via Postal Service with the most economical shipping option. Vintage Sencore Transistorized Harmonic Generator
This is a vintage Sencore(Service Instruments Corp) Harmonic Generator. It was used for trouble shooting transistor radios. Tube radios, TV, HiFi, printed boards, etc. It appears to be in decent shape for it's age. The outside and the wires are in good shape. There are some blemishes on the outside but they're not terrible. The inside does have some surface rust. It also has some corrosion and wear around the battery. I think the battery is still in there. It is missing the two small screws that hold the front onto the back case. It measures approx. 4 3/4 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall. Vintage Sencore MU150 Continental II vacuum tube tester dynamic mutual
Vintage Sencore mu150 dynamic mutual conductance tube tester. Continental ll. We did test it with a tube 6hb5 and it showed that it was bad. It lit up some but showed about 20 on the bad gauge. As for anything else I am no expert on this item. The unit looks to be in nice shape with some scratches and wear. Comes with the Continental mutual tube analyzer book also.
