vintage EMC model#211 tube tester with operating manual. i dont have the means to test this unit. Up for auction is a vintage Knight tube tester It is a model KG 600 b. It is in good as found condition. Purchased from a recent garage sale. The previous owner told me it works. I have turned it on and it does work in that respect. I have not run tests on it. I know nothing at all about old electronics and I know even less about vacuum tubes. Also I have no tubes to test. The exterior or the case is dirty and dusty, but the inside is pretty clean. The lid/top of the case has the previous owners initial painted on. The case is good and solid, there is no breaks or repairs. There is some surface rust on the hinges and closing clasps. there is some spots of the faux leather cover coming loose. The tester works turns on, but it is being sold untested. I tested several tubes and all the controls work as should. Checks tubes from OA2 through ZD19. Also checks foreign tubes. The circuitry of the Fast-Check has been engineered to provide for all the possible combinations of pin connections of future tube types. It will check over 700 tube types. Here is a nice vintage Knight Kit KG-600C Tube Tester. Made by Allied Radio Corp of Chicago Illinois USA made back in 1969. The Tester was found with the original assembly manual and tube chart, is in used very good condition with some wear as pictured, and 1 of the knobs does not tightened up on the shaft and the rubber on the clip for the connecting the top metal of the tube has dried out. The tube tester was plugged in and lights up, meter adjusts, all controls appear to work, the tube chart spins properly and I tested a few tubes and the tester appears to work, but may need to be adjusted. The Case shows some wear with the handle is broken as pictured, is missing 2 feet, but both latches work properly. The Tube Tester because of age is sold as pictured and as is, looks and displays well, and would be a super addition to your collection! ... morePlease look at my vintage electronics listings. Welcome-up for bids is a Series 920 Electronamic tube tester. Made by the Precision Apparatus Company in New York. Circa 1940 This tube tester has NOT been tested. Mostly because of the frayed electric cord. I have no reason to believe it will not work. Purchased from an estate auction from a 60yr old that suddenly passed away. He had 100's of these types of things(Ohm meters, volt meters, tube testers, etc) Look carefully at the pictures. As mentioned. The cord is frayed. It is missing one of the little rubber"feet-stoppers" on the back edge of the lid. It is also missing the handle. The case is a poor/fair condition, considering its age. The scroll moves freely and all the knobs turn easily. Box measures about 13x13x6 and weighs a good 15lbs. Most economically way to ship this would be FedEX.
