B& K Dyna Jet Tube Tester- Model#606 Working vintage 1970's tube tester. Good condition with a few flaws- please read description. This is in pretty good shape for it's age. The plastic rim around the top cap is broken- it will still plug on and make connection fine. There is some damage where the electrical cord(that plugs into the wall) comes out of the testing unit, the rubbery coating around that is loose. This unit measures 11" x 8.5" and is 4.5" deep(when all closed up) The case shows wear. The snap closure works perfect and keeps the unit secure. The hinges on the back are in great shape as well as the 4 metal feet on the back of the case. The setup chart manual is 50 pages, it is very worn, the cover and back have seperated. Vintage B& K Dyna-Quik Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. Model# 650. This tester works great and has been calibrated. Comes with tube test set-up manual and a copy of the instruction manual. Test sockets for 8 pin octal and loctal tubes and 7,9 pin miniature tubes. All controls, sockets and switches have been cleaned. All capacitors, diodes and some resistors were replaced. New power cord. It is great for testing amplifier, audio, hi/fi, stereo, radio and tv tubes. This tester shows its age and the case is in poor condition. However, this is a solid tester that has been calibrated and works great. Very useful with a lot of great features. Meter face looks good and is easy to read. The strength of this tester is the ability to rapidly test a bunch of tubes. I replaced all the electrolytic caps with modern units of the same value along with a NOS 6BN8 tube and cleaned all the controls. The previous owner had replaced the 83 rectifier with silicon diodes. And this is acceptable with this model. I did replace them with current production for safety. A few sockets had also been previously replaced as they do wear out. The line cord was a spliced disaster so I installed a new one. I tested it with a variety of tubes using both upper and lower banks. But I did not test all sockets. It was close to my Hickock 6000A in readings so I didn’t mess with the calibration. The owner’s manual gives calibration instructions if it is ever needed, and I will include a PDF of the manual on CD. I noticed in the pictures that the bottom ... morescrew was missing, and I replaced the original screw that I left out when I serviced the tester. Guaranteed for a full refund on return if not as described. And I must be notified within 3 days of receipt. Dyna-Quik Model 700 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester
You are bidding on a Dyna-Quik Model 700 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester with Manual. I have tested 4 tubes on this tester(6SN7.5V4, 12BY7, 6L6) Those are sockets 25,33,9, and 29. I have not tested the rest of this unit with the exception of number 8 which I found was not working when I tried to test a 12ax7. I replaced two tubes in this tester a#83 and a 6BN8. The tester works as seen in the pictures with a 6SN7 tube. The circuit transfer works on this unit as well. The gauge is faded on the replaced(not good tube side) but is still functional. Since I have not completely tested this unit I am selling this as is for parts or repair. It comes with a manual as seen in the pictures. Very nice. Perfectly working B&K 707 tube tester. Comes with tube handbook and original B&K tube chart booklet. Guaranteed to work. Condition is good but this is an older machine so the case definitely has wear and there are going to be some small marks here and there. It's been cleaned but if someone spent some extra effort it would clean up very nice. We are a music shop and have always had repair techs but recently we lost our main guitar amp repair man and this machine has become expendable. It's been at our shop for many. Outside is in pretty decent condition. With one small stain, a very small tear, and a little rust on the latch. Inside is beautiful and spotless. The screws have a little bit of rust. But are just normal screws you could replace, or leave as-is, because they wouldn't affect anything. Unit turns right on. But past that I have no way of testing it. Here is a nice early B&K Dyna Quik model 500 in good condition. This unit has been tested with a couple of tubes that were tested on a calibrated tester my friend owns and the tubes tested within 5% of his. The previous owner said he used this to test all his tubes and it worked very well. This tester has a 83 rectifier tube in it. And has a slight hum when powered up but everything seems to work as it should, it also comes with a 1B3GT adapter and the tube chart booklet plus there is a page on the back of the cover. I am also going to sell another B&K model 606 in another auction, check that one out. The case is in good condition with some worn spots and the latch has some rust. Then it will tell you the socket you use, heater and sensitivity settings. Also it comes with a B&K CR-57 Adapter. A TV Picture Britener 1B140, Socket L IB3#56 Adapter, Some adapter with no markings on it and a 10J203 Converter. It operates from 110VAC and as you can see from the pictures I have shown it powered up and working. Now I own 2 tubes to my name. One I know is good and the other is bad. If you look at the pictures you will see one tube where it is reading good. and the other is bad. Now I know very little and had to read the instructions on the card to see how it worked. I also have not tested any other part of the tester as I have no Transistors. and to be honest. other than the tube testing I am unsure what the rest of it does. It looks as though it has been recently painted silver. though this looks ok I am not so sure it is original as the handle is blue. Also the hinges on the back either have been moved or they are not the original ones as the are off center and I can see where hinges used to be. Looking at it I thing the old hinges broke and these were put on. The cards, are old on the edges and do fall out the holder quite easy. So please look at the pictures for cosmetic condition. This is one RARE bird of a tube tester! B&K 650 Dyna Quik. Recapped and cleaned! Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. Will easily do GOOD/BAD tests or Gm testing just by adjusting the Sensitivity potentiometer. Very easy to use! Tests both sides of a dual triode(6SN7.12AX7, 12AU7,etc) with the flick of a single switch. In the pictures you can see me testing both sides of a 6SN7 that is very well balanced. Only about 50Gm difference from one side to the other. Overall 7.5 to 8 out of 10 condition. Comes with Setup book and Mercury AD-4 Adapter for compactrons. Case shows some age but still in better condition than most old tube testers. Comes with a good. tested 83 rectifier tube and a good tested 6AT5. This B K Model 500 tube tester works. I tested 6 tubes with it and got meaningful results. It has a lot of information inside the lid allowing one to test a variety of tubes, but it does not come with the little supplemental handbook. I have seen them sold on eBay for 9.99. It's old and the tolex is a little rough, the handle mounts are rusty and one of the rubber feet is missing, but it has four of the little octal adapters and a fifth one which is a duplicate of the 6BN6-98. Everything I tested worked(well one of my tubes was shot, but that's a different story) but it's used so it's sold as-is with the understanding that it's been around the block a few times. If I had enough different types of tubes I'd test all the sockets. I'll repeat, every tube I plugged into this lit up and tested. This is a nice working BK 747 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Solid State Tube Tester. All Switches. Pots, and tube sockets were cleaned and/or tightened. Caig Deoxit was used to clean the contacts. Bulbs for the heater and overload are good. The plastic over the meter is clean and free of scratches! Meter movement is nice and smooth Several known tubes were tested to ensure proper operation of this tube tester. The hinge is tight to open and pops when you do open it. External metal hardware shows some surface corrosion that can be easily cleaned. We have sold and shipped over 50 tube testers over the last 15 years. Not one has ever come back and every customer has been delighted with their testers! This tester will be shrink-wrapped in white foam. Bubble wrapped and packed tightly in foam peanuts in a sturdy box.
