I have not personally used this tester myself but was told by the previous owner that he had used it approximately 3-years ago and that it was working at that time. After purchasing it. I brought it home, plugged it in, and was able to adjust the line voltage properly. I have not done any additional testing beyond this and therefore, I am selling this item in as-is, untested, used condition. As the photos show, this unit is quite clean for it's age both inside and out and all of the knobs, switches, and push-buttons are original and in great shape. All of the sockets are clean and are not cracked anywhere. The indicator needles in the three meters are not stuck and the power cord is still in great shape without being brittle. I purchased this tester without a case cover(as shown) which is how I am selling it. The tube data scroll wheel does work, and all of the data is readable however, it does stick once in a while. Own this Western Electric/ Hickok KS-15559-L1 tube checker for a great price. This item is not available for local pickup. It will need to be shipped to your location. The paper roll sights are a little opaque but did come a little clearer when I wiped them. The paper roll does move but it's a little wrinkled as if it getting caught but it's not torn. This Vintage Eico 667 Tester has been in storage for over 30 years. I don't have the ability to test it and don't know if it works, so I'm offering it in"AS IS" Untested condition. It is in good condition given it's age. Circa 1968) Other then the six black plastic lever tips that are missing. All the parts appear to be present(See Photos) The paper scroll moves correctly and all the levers. Push buttons, and rotary knobs seem to operate correctly. I included pictures of the inside so you can judge for yourself the condition of the parts. The case has some rust on the outside as well as around where the handle is attached. Here is a Jackson Dynamic tube tester model#715 up for a NO RESERVE AUCTION. This Jackson vaccuum tube tester has been dependable and pretty accurate. I have tested a lot of different electron tubes on it. I have not used all the different docks/ ports on the unit but most. All the buttons. Switches& knobs work exactly as they should. This is a nice clean unit and it comes with a photo copy MANUAL and 30+ pages of EXTRA TUBE DATA WITH INSTRUCTIONS on how to test them for the Jackson 715. The copies are what was sent to the owners of these testers for upgrade tube information. The onboard reel offers 100's of different tubes as well. There is even a pic of the inside of the unit. RD Instruments 1575 tube tester manufactured by Hickok
Until about a week ago this was a working tube tester. After attempting to test a 6146. It ceased to function. It now displays"shorts" in all of the short positions. I checked the rectifiers on my other RD Instruments tube tester and they both checked good. Incidentally, I also checked that 6146 on my other RD Instruments tester and it checked good as well and is now being used in a Heathkit SB-101 and it is working fine. I don't know what happened, but I suspect a shorted cap so you may be getting a real bargain. Since I have the other RD tester and am not really into fixing test equipment, this one is up for sale. Everything worked fine prior to the"incident" All switches and pots and meters worked like they were suppose to work. I have not a clue as to why the wrong roll chart was installed or why the lifts are ... moremissing. Obviously this is being sold as-is for parts or repair. TV-7D/U Tube Tester- Working: Custom Case
This is a functional TV-7D/U Tube Tester with manuals. When I bought this. The case was missing so I made a custom vented case. I recognize that to a collector this is incomplete but it is still a great unit. I used this for several years while I was repairing guitar amplifiers and never had any issues with it. It has been in storage for about 7 years and I haven't retested it. While taking the pictures, I noticed that the rubber on the cord is cracking so that should be replaced. Otherwise, there isn't any other deterioration.

Up for auction is this Vintage Eico Model 667 Dynamic Conductance Vacuum Tube and Transistor Tester with Manuals. This tester is in Good working condition. I tester has been tested and everything on the tester works as it should. The tester is in Good cosmetic condition. There are 3 plastic knobs on the tester that have come off but this does not affect the p0erformance of the tester. All of the other knobs are present and intact. The tester comes with all of its manuals and charts. The tester measures approx. 15” wide by 6” tall by 12” deep I took a lot of pictures to show you what you are receiving. Precision High Speed Roll Chart Vacuum Tube Tester
This is the roll chart assembly for Precision tube testers models: 10-12 10-15 10-20 10-22 10-54 Part number is RM-10 Form MRC-H2G) Probably the chart version) This is the"High speed" version It rolls from one end to the other without any problems. The paper isn't torn or damaged. As you can see in the pictures someone in the past has made a correction on the data for one tube. I am not aware if the correction is acurate. There is also light surface rust on the steel parts of the assembly. The gears however are clean and roll beautifully. It has three holes for mounting 5inches apart one from the other. I like to offer complete units so this one is sold for parts or restoration. This tester DOES FUNCTION for the tube testing section. It's a great piece of history! Can use a little time in cleaning the faceplate. All switches and line set pot has been cleaned. It's neat to see this old machine fire up! The model 555 is probably from the late 1930's which is phenomenal given the pristine condition. It was styled in art deco which would make it a good piece for a prop house although technically it is fully functional and could find a place on the bench of any tech working on vintage equipment. Vintage Hickok tube tester 15560-L1 Mutual cond. tester made for Western Elect.
This tube tester is a Hickok model 15560-L1 mutual conductance tester made for Western Electric for testing audio and other tubes made by Western Electric in addition to many other tubes. It is in good shape and test results compared favorably to those on another Hickok tester. All meters and switches work. The shorts indicating lights work as they should. The two rectifier tubes are good. A good quality reprint of the operating manual is included. Two or three capacitors were replaced and missing or damaged rubber feet were replaced. A small damaged part of the tube chart had to be cut out and the chart glued back together. This part was photocopied and is included. The roll chart works smoothly. The case has several scuffed and rough places. But it has done it’s job well and has protected the tester from any corrosion or other damage. The ... moretester does not show any signs of wear or scratches. It is very clean underneath. The set weighs about 30 lbs. Serial number is 769. Included are the operating manual. Two pin straighteners, grid and plate cap connecting wires, an adaptor for testing old fashioned short pin tubes, and a photocopy of all of the data on the roll chart as a backup to the roll chart. It's true what you read online you may get into the habit of tapping the meter to get the needle to set. Tester is in good working order. Matches numbers of tubes I have bought. It was suppose to have been calibrated before I bought it and seems to work fine I never bought the few parts needed to Calabrate it. Lots of info on line how to do it your self. 1930's Readrite Model 430 Tube Tester
This is 1930's tube tester. This tube tester was made by Readrite Meter Works of Bluffton. Ohio. This is a small instrument housed in a wooden box that measures 8 inches wide, 8.5 inches deep and 7 inches high with the top closed. When opened, the instrument face slopes from the back to the front. It is powered by regular household current with voltage ranging from 103 to 125 volts. The tester can test most 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 pin tubes of the 1930's era and earlier. A paper card that came with the meter has a list of tubes it can test, operating instructions, and a theory of operation.This card can be seen inside the lid in the photo. The instrument is turned on with the pointer knob on the lower right. Turning the knob clockwise turns the instrument on and you are to rotate the knob until the shadow line on the shadow meter aligns ... morewith the line marked on the meter face. The shadow meter can be seen in the photo above as the illuminated oval in the top center of the panel. In the photo, the instrument has been turned on and the shadow line is just to the left of the mark. According to the theory of operation that came with the meter, aligning the marks, ensures the metering circuit is supplied with exactly 30 Vac. The voltage is critical to ensure accurate tube emission measurements. You can tell this is an old piece of equipment, the paint is fading but it call all still be read. There are cracks in the wood where it looks like it was dropped so it doesnt close all the way but i think a couple small nails would solve this problem rather easily. The person I received it from was selling it to settle estate and evidently he took the hardware off to work on it. It wasn't found but I'm sure something could be found on eBay. Cosmetic conditions are excellent as you can see in pictures(please supersize them to view in larger details) The only wear is around the chart wheel. Tester does power up. I tested 12ax7 tube and result was close to my calibrated Jackson 648S tester. Manual& wires pictured are included. However. I never got a chance(time) to go thru with any major check up. I don't know when was the last calibration performed or if there were any parts(caps) replaced/changed, so please assume calibration is needed if you plan on using this Hickok as your primary tester and you may update caps if necessary.All of you guys out there know what to do when you get vintage ... morepiece of electronics.
