Real nice tube tester from my own laboratory! Very clean. It was extremely active since its production date but working as if it was new! Very robust and heavy duty! Dual transformer. New condensers, no burned wires, it has the schematic stapled on base! Push switches contacts are active and not coming apart, each contact has its tension and properly closing circuitry! It uses solid state system and not 1S5 tube. Unit was lubricated and 100% functional. It has extras such as the magnoval adapter original from Jackson M#9mna, extra chart, ac cord, academy ac plug, wire pin unit included. Meter works, switches intact, bulb works. Never gave trouble. I powered the unit up and it seems to all function, I am no expert on these but from what I can tell if it is not working it will be something simple to fix, all the parts seem to be in order, the upper sign is cracked in several places but none are on the front, a reproduction could be made fairly easily from the original and I have put masking tape over the cracked areas to keep them from further cracking. The meter cover is not attached and has broken the needle about half way down, the broken piece is taped inside the meter, i was going to try and fix it or replace it and have had no time.
