Here I have a vintage NRI Professional Vacuum Tube Tester Model 70. Serial no. 1375 for parts or repair. Bottom case is pretty solid but is missing the top cover. Knobs turn, levers go up and down, roller at the bottom turns both ways, glass covering the meter is dirty underneath and loose. The two windows at the bottom are also obscure. You are bidding on a Tube tester#151 by Accurate Instrument Co. with instruction manual in very good condition. 1960 model I think. The lid comes off to allow you to better use the instrument. This deal comes with 3 other manuals. RCA receiving tub manual from 1954 in fair to good condition. Also Tube substitution handbook numbers 14 and 17 from 1971 and 1974. These two books are in very good condition. You will also receive about 20 tubes of different sizes. The tester did work on a few of these but I do not know much about testing them so I don't know if they are good. Some did light up however. Mercury Model 1000 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester - not working properly
This is a great Mercury 1000 dynamic mutual conductance tube tester. I have replaced the electrolytic caps. The diode rectifier, and the lamps. It used to work perfectly, but then suddenly the needle starting pulling backwards with octal tubes. I know this is an easy fix for the right person, but I don't have the desire to chase the problem down when I already have other working testers. Snag this one that has already been re-capped. Find the bad resistor(most likely) and you'll have a great tester for much less than a working one. Comes with the original tube chart and a photocopy of the manual. Complete with schematic.

I unscrewed the front metal faceplate(note that 2 wood screws are missing but could easily be replaced) and took a variety of photographs of the electronics inside the unit. HICKOK TRACEOMETER Model 156 Vintage Tube Radio Tester Equiment
In this auction is this interesting piece of tube radio testing equipment. It is a Hickok traceometer model 156. This was used to find problem points in tube radio circuits. It seems to function as a voltmeter and ammeter combination. It still has all the old test probes which are often missing. This piece does have some rust on the bottom so I did not plug it in to test it. I am selling it as is and most likely not functioning. This unit measures 16x11x13 inches high and is pretty heavy.

This is a very user friendly Tube Tester if you are in the market for one. This is a very nice Hickok model 600A. I have tested over 8 different tubes on the tester and it seems to work very well. The roll chart is tight and turns freely. The tube cap squeeze clamps are included which look original. two different sizes) The power cord is very good. Based on the overall condition of the casing and the face itself. I would say that this tester has seen very little use. The serial number plate is attached to the case. The handle, latches, and hinges are secure and work as they should. Latches have some surface rust on them. The case reflects less than normal wear for its age. Also included is an Operating Manual and a Supplimental Tube Chart. The line adjust and meter work well also. All of the knobs are tight and function as they should. Up for sale is a B&K Model 700 Mutual Conductance tube tester. It is in great shape considering its age. I tested a tube that I had that was new in the box. It showed the tube as Good. See the pictures for more details. It lights up and tests the sample tube OK. I did not try each function so I am selling it as is. It has signs of its age but seems to work. There is a calibration sticker on it but I can not make out the date. See picture. Calibration date looks like 1087 or 1097 but I cannot be sure. Here is a used vintage Hickok Model# 752 tube tester. Manufactured by The Hickok Electrical Instrument Company. Originaly purchased in 1959. Purchase includes an additional used paper tube sheet reel. Has a custom black hinged case with rear storage compartment. Front handle, and 2-latches on front; has metal protective pieces on all corners. Approximate measurements of the case: 18-1/2" x 17" x 7-1/4" some dings, but for the age, pretty good condition. Approximate weight is about 22 pounds Designed to be used using 115-Volts AC at 50-60 Hz. Serial number under the handle reads: 241 10138 Included with the tester are a couple of small adapter cables. I'm not sure what these are used for. The instruction manual is not included. Precision Model Series 912 Tube Tester
Offered is an as found vintage tube tester. I plugged it in and the needle moves and the device lights up. I have no way of knowing if it will test tubes or not. The dove tailed box shows wear and the handle has been replaced with wire. The roller for the paper turns but there are tears to the paper on the left side. Also there are some missing knobs. Comes with some instruction papers. Also there are 3 tubes that were inside the box that will be included. I do not know if they are functional or not. One is an amperex ecl86/ 6gw8 and other one looks almost indentical but has no writing. The third is a sylvania 1h.

This is 1940's- 1950's Jackson Model 648A dynamic plate conductance tube tester. This tube tester was made by The Jackson Electrical Instrument Co. of Dayton. Ohio. This is a portable instrument housed in a wooden box covered with a now-tattered covering. The box measures 16.5 inches wide, 13.5 inches deep and 6 inches high with the top closed. It is powered by regular household current with voltage ranging from 100 to 125 volts. The tester can test most 4, 5, 6, 7, octal 8, loctal 8, Noval, 9, miniature 7, and sub-miniature 7 and 8 pin tubes of the 1930's era and later. A roller tube chart list of tubes it can test is built in to the lower portion of the front panel. Powers up and lights work, no other testing done. As-Is but guaranteed not to be DOA.

THIS TESTER HAS THE SEPERATE VOLT METER AND IT HAS A EXTRA KNOB THAT IS MARKED 3000.6000 AND 15000. I HAVE ENCLOSED A COPY OF THE FACTORY MANUAL AND IT DOES NOT MENTION THE EXTRA SWITCH AND THE VOLT METER.I HAVE ENCLOSED A COPY OF THE MODEL 539 THAT TELLS HOW TO SET THE SET LINE. THE ONLY DIAGRAM THAT I CAN FIND IS THE 3 SHEETS THAT I MADE A PICTURE OFF. I HAVE FOUND SEVERAL MANUALS FOR SALE ON EBAY,BUT THEY HAVE THE SAME INFO THAT I HAVE. THE MODEL NUMBER IS ON THE FACE,BUT I FOUND A PICTURE OF A 530SPL THAT IS IDENICAL TO THIS TESTER, AND SOMEONE TOLD ME IT MIGHT HAVE MADE FOR THE MILITARY. Untitled Document This is a great tube tester for a number of reasons. First. Because it will test almost every tube ever made. Second, the roll chart has just about every tube on it so you don’t need a separate book. Third it just looks cool. I have tested it with a number of tubes that I have tested out on another meter and the tests all show out true. There is one minor issue though, the“read meter” button could use a little deoxidizing as you have to push it just right to read true. Not a big deal and fully functional without any work but I didn’t open it up as I assume that if you are getting this you probably work on gear yourself so you’ll probably want to open it up yourself anyway. But it's got one great feature: It can test late type tubes, including Compactrons and others having uncommon bases.
