It absolutly needs a new power cord before it could even be tested safely but, after noticing some screws missing on the cover I had to open it up to make sure it wasn't gutted. As you can see in the pictures aside from a coating of dust the interior looks surprisingly good with no evidence that anything but age has deteriorated the cord on the outside of the cover, even the paper roll looks quite good. This is a large heavy object so shipping will be quoted as parcel post. If you live between the mountains like me and won't get hit by the post office for a substantial upcharge for oversize packages or just want it fast I'll offer Priority Mail as an option. I tested a 6F5 tube that I had laying around and saw the tube filaments light up. T he test button did nothing until I turned the line adjust up and noticed th e mete r's needle climb up but never got past the" R eplace" section. I have some knowledge of how to test tubes but I am not an exp ert. Therefore. The tester is being auctioned" As-Is" I t looks to be all complete except for a screw missing under the" Range" knob. The paper roll sights are a little opaque but did come a little clearer when I wiped them. The paper roll does move but it's a little wrinkled as if it getting caught but it's not torn. I do not have the manual or user guide.

Precision Model 912 Tube Tester This is an old Tube Tester that I believe was first manufactured in the late 1940’s by the Precision Apparatus Co. Elmhurst. New York. The case is in good physical condition with just the normal scuffs and scrapes for a 60 year old unit. When the unit is powered on. The meter moves from the red zone to the yellow zone(See pictures) but that is all I can tell about the working condition of the unit. good working vintage U-TEST-EM stationary floor model electron tube tester
SquareTrade © AP6.0 1960 vintage U-Test-Em model 1901 stationary tube tester. 58 1/2" tall x 21" wide x 20" front to back. Sheet metal cabinet has locking door on the bottom with slide out tray shelves. There are 5 tray slots but only 2 trays. Cabinet is in fair cosmetic condition but equipment appears to be good working. Glass insert on the cabinet base door is cracked. Glass panel with advertising is missing from the overhead light section. Some minor surface rust and wear and on the cabinet. For testing Efficiency. Plug the tube into the correct socket and allow 30 seconds to warm up. Meter should read at the chart indicated value or higher. I tested several tubes and the values appear reasonable. I have a brand new 6U7 tube which shows a value of 50 on the cabinet chart and the meter tests at 55. I have a used 6K7 ... morewhich should test at 50 but only registers 40. Shorts or gas leaks should light up on the panel but none of the tubes I tested appear to be faulty in that respect. There is a toggle power switch mounted on the panel, however, the only way to turn off the overhead light is to unplug the unit. Pretty neat and usable unit. For local pick up here in York, PA 17406. Bought from a working shop, I've plugged it in, tested as I could, here it is telling me the tube out of my TransOceanic is leaking and dead, but everything seems to be working properly, lights light, dials dial or click, toggles toggle, no damage, cord is clean and supple, no cracks, ready to be put to work. Serial number is 4199, mails at 9.5 pounds. BTW, I know this tester came out in a field model with a cover for the front and snaps, this was a desk model, complete as sold, not a tester missing the cover. The needle moves when different buttons are pressed/switched, The dial/Chart moves freely. I do not have any tubes to test this unit out completely, came from a clean estate. It is of the two-transformer design whereby one transformer supplies operating voltages for the tube tester. The second transformer supplies filament(heater) current for the tube being tested. Capable of testing 4, 5, 6, 7(large) octal, loctal, acorn, seven and nine pin miniature tubes, also various sub-miniature types. Includes grid/plate clip lead and manual. Aluminum case and front panel is in excellent condition. All original knobs present. Roll chart operates smoothly from end to end, no binding, rips or tape. Dyna-Quik Model 700 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester
You are bidding on a Dyna-Quik Model 700 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester with Manual. I have tested 4 tubes on this tester(6SN7.5V4, 12BY7, 6L6) Those are sockets 25,33,9, and 29. I have not tested the rest of this unit with the exception of number 8 which I found was not working when I tried to test a 12ax7. I replaced two tubes in this tester a#83 and a 6BN8. The tester works as seen in the pictures with a 6SN7 tube. The circuit transfer works on this unit as well. The gauge is faded on the replaced(not good tube side) but is still functional. Since I have not completely tested this unit I am selling this as is for parts or repair. It comes with a manual as seen in the pictures. The tester is a little dirty and the handle has been replaced with a piece of metal, cloth is also coming off the case. Please notice: The A/C Plug has been ... morereplaced. Alright folks here is a rare find. This is I beleive vintage circa 1955! Superior Instruments Company model 82A vacuum tube tester. If you play electric guitar with a tube amp you might want this. If you repair tube equipment this is a must have! That is why I have it. Vacuum tubes give you the sound that only a tube can produce. Sure the newer digital amps are great and do simulate the tube sound well but. Side by side with a real tube amp you can tell the difference instantly on the first note even if you are not an audiophile. Hickok Model 1575B Tube Tester
For Auction is a Hickok Model 1575B tube tester. It turns on and powers the few tubes I have tested it with. All the meters work. Missing four feet. SHUNT KNOB, and manual. Has scratches. Tape marks, dings, ink marking, stickers, small dents, and the lid does not close properly. Not to sure about accuracy, it was last calibrated in 1965. It was from a university. It functions as well as I can test it without a manual.

Vintage Heathkit Tube Tester Model IT-21, very good condition, fully functional
Up for auction is a Heathkit Tube Tester Model IT-21. This tube tester is in excellent cosmetic condition. There are minor scuff and scrapes on it. But nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage piece such as this. There is a knob missing on the lower right side and on the bottom of the unit the caps on the A& L levers are also missing. It is missing two foot pads on the left side and also on the back side it is missing one foot pad on the top left side on the back of the tester. Other than those few flaws, this is a very clean unit that has been tested and all knobs and switches and plugs& plug-ins appear to function properly. I was not able to test every bulb socket because I did not have all the sizes, I did have 7 different bulbs a few different sizes and each worked so I assume all the other sockets do too. Up for auction is a vintage Eico Model 625 tube tester. The serial number is 68782W. I recently purchased a number of vintage tube related items from an estate and this tester came from that group. The tester was plugged in and it lights up. But I don't know how to test it properly. The roll chart scrolls smoothly and the cabinet is in good shape, but needs a cleaning.
