Vintage 1951 Superior Instruments Tube Tester Model-TV-11"UNTESTED" I don't know much about these machines but this seems to be a nice one. I did not plug it in as I didn't want to have any issues with the machine. I will leave the winning bidder to determine its working status. I was told it was in working order when I bought it. Tester appears to be complete, no missing knobs, no breaks in components. The case seems to be made out of solid oak wood. The case has normal wear, scuffs, scratches no breaks in the wood. The carrying handle seems to be made out of bake lite and is in very nice unbroken condition. There is a copy of operating instructions for this tester. Thank you for looking! Up for your consideration is a beautiful 1950's Simpson Model 555 Radio and T.V. tube tester. This may also test amplifier tubes. If you want to send me a message with your tube numbers, I can tell you if the are on the list or not) The face, dials, meter, and switches are all in beautiful shape. The light in the meter lights up when plugged in and turned on, and I am able to center the needle in the meter with the centering dial. The tube test chart does move back and forth smoothly, and is clearly readable. This also includes some tools. Including what appears to be a tube install/ remove tool. I also downloaded and printed out a copy of the owner's manual which will be included. Since I do not have any tubes to test on this tester. I do not know if the tester part works or not. Here I have a vintage NRI Professional Vacuum Tube Tester Model 70. Serial no. 1375 for parts or repair. Bottom case is pretty solid but is missing the top cover. Knobs turn, levers go up and down, roller at the bottom turns both ways, glass covering the meter is dirty underneath and loose. The two windows at the bottom are also obscure. THIS UNIT WAS DESIGNED TO ALLOW THE TUBE TESTER TO BE REMOVED FROM THE CASE AND CARRIED BY THE STRAP ON TOP OF THE UNIT AS SEEN IN THE PHOTO. THE UNIT IS VERY NICE IN APPEARANCE. IT POWERS UP FINE AND I WAS ABLE TO GET GOOD READINGS IN THE 6 AND 12 VOLT TUBES TESTED. THE PUSH BUTTONS COULD USE A SHOT OF CLEANER/LUBRICANT AND THE ROLLER MOVES BUT IS DIFFICULT SO IT PROBABLY NEEDS LUBRICATION. THE POWER CORD IS EXCELLENT. In this auction is this interesting piece of tube radio testing equipment. It is a Hickok traceometer model 156. This was used to find problem points in tube radio circuits. It seems to function as a voltmeter and ammeter combination. It still has all the old test probes which are often missing. This piece does have some rust on the bottom so I did not plug it in to test it. I am selling it as is and most likely not functioning. This unit measures 16x11x13 inches high and is pretty heavy.

This is a very user friendly Tube Tester if you are in the market for one. This is a very nice Hickok model 600A. I have tested over 8 different tubes on the tester and it seems to work very well. The roll chart is tight and turns freely. The tube cap squeeze clamps are included which look original. two different sizes) The power cord is very good. Based on the overall condition of the casing and the face itself. I would say that this tester has seen very little use. The serial number plate is attached to the case. The handle, latches, and hinges are secure and work as they should. Latches have some surface rust on them. The case reflects less than normal wear for its age. Also included is an Operating Manual and a Supplimental Tube Chart. The line adjust and meter work well also. All of the knobs are tight and function as they should. Listed is a Hickok model 605 tube tester. It seems to work. I tested the one tube I have and gave me a good reading. I am no expert and only was able to test one tube so I am not sure if all settings and options work but the unit is in good shape. I do not have extra cables for amp testing. Vintage Supreme Model 504-A Radio Tube set tester
Up for auction is a supreme model 504-A tube tester in an oak case. I do not know anything about this. It needs a new cord so I do not want to plug it in. This comes with its instruction booklet also with complete schematics for the 504-A. The case needs to be refinished and needs a new leather handle. It also comes with side pieces as pictured. One of them is a tube tester chart. It is rolled up in a tube. It is about 5 feet long and is in great shape with no tears.
