Hickok 533A Tube Tester- Gold Edition! I used this tester for several months as my main bench tester. It has a nice bright meter face and smooth meter movement. It has been a solid performer. There is no top to the case and the case has had the tolex removed and/or is not the original case and is painted black. This will make a nice bench tester for someone. The tester was within specs when I bought it and is still within specs so I have not modified its circuitry. I did replace the aging 83 tube with a SS regulated 83 unit with a 13.4 voltage drop. If the buyer would like me to add the plate current test modification that I do. I can add that at no extra charge. T The roll chart is dated Spring 1970 and moves freely end to end. I will add what other documentation. Including the manual, on CD. I compared this testers results to two other ... moretesters I just finished a refurbish on. A 800A and a 750 and the 6L6 reads right on the nose to my bogie tube, and a 12AX7 tests just a little higher than the other 2 testers, but I believe within tolerances for a field tester of this type. A complete refurbish of this tester would raise the price a couple hundred dollars and its been working very nicely, and that effort would yield somewhat negligible results, so I decided to sell it as it is and offer at a lower cost. B&K 747 Tube Tester..excellent cosmetic and operating condition!!
This is a VERY nice unit! Fully tested showing 5Y3. 12AX7 and 6L6 tubes during test. The results matched up with a calibrated TV-7 tube tester. Good operating instructions and tube setting charts in the lid. The only cosmetic or operating flaws I could find were a few scrape marks on the outer case. All controls operate smoothly and crisply like a new tester. The chassis underneath is very clean also. This is a very easy tester to use, and produces consistently good results.

You are bidding on a vintage Jackson 648 tube tester. It's in very good condition for its age. It comes with a ton of documentation and extras and the vacuum tubes Inc manual and calibration tube which is the best! Also has a bunch of extra associated documentation and service bulletins. I did power it up to check the calibration and it's reading a little high. Tube is calibrated at 85 and it reads 90. This unit is one of the easier to calibrate as pots are used for the calibration I also recall that when I put it away. The meter was occasionally a bit temperamental, and needed a tap before it would register. This unit has the upgraded shorts test. As well as the filament voltage upgrade kit installed. The tester does test a number known weak tube bad and good ones good. But you'll probably want to have this serviced/service it ... moreyourself so the calibration is right on. Here is an interesting old tube tester. This is Jefferson 4 pin tube tester. It looks like it tests the 1920s 3 dialer tubes. I tried a 201A tube and it measured a little over half scale so I think it works ok but I really don't know anything about this item. The unit looks to be on good condition. The cord is a little ragged but it does work. These items don't come up for sale very often so if you are looking for one to put in your collection this one is pretty nice. Give it a good home. This unit was fixed and fully tested including all sockets(even the sub-miniature type) indicators, switches and controls. This tester is fully working and does as good a job of testing tubes as when it was new. The cabinet is solid but has seen plenty of use through the decades. The exterior hardware is tarnished but solid. The handle is good. The case shows wear but again is solid. There are some ink marks and paint splatter on the cover. VINTAGE LAFAYETTE 636 TUBE TESTER, WORKING
Vintage Lafayette tube tester model 636 in working condition. The case is solid. No cracks or chips, but could use some cleaning. I tested a known good 50C5 tube and it indicated good, I also tested a marginally good 6C4 and it did indicate it. I also tested a newer 6C4 and it indicated strong, it seems that the calibration still holds, but I can't guarantee it will do it with every single tube. The meter bounces a little before stabilizing its reading, it may need some capacitor replacement, but it does work the way it is. Here is a clean. Calibrated and tested EICO 667 Tube Tester. It works because I tested it and fixed what was broken. Testing revealed several problems including an intermittent tube socket which had to be replaced. The only thing I wasn't able to test was the 7 pin Nuvistor socket because I don't have any of those tubes. I checked the socket wiring and it looked OK, so that socket most likely works as it should. I checked the transistor test function with both PNP and NPN transistors. It worked just like new. Most people looking to buy a tube tester rarely consider the transistor function. But the EICO 667 has a pretty decent transistor tester built in. It checks both the Iceo(collector to emitter. Open base) leakage current and the Beta. This works especially well for signal transistors. The EICO 667 Dynamic Conductance Tester is ... morean excellent tube tester which provides much more reliable results than the typical emission tester. I have a weak EL34 tube in my parts box that tests good on almost all emission testers. This 667 correctly rejects this tube as bad. See picture. Overall this tester is in very good condition. The roll chart works well and the meter is smooth and repeatable. Take a look at the photos. They do a good job of describing the unit's overall condition. It's got all the probes and extras and is complete. It's been in my position for years and was the best of 3 that I once had. It's been in storage since 2003 when I got divorced. I've decided that I'm not doing any more repair work on such a major scale so it's time for it to go. Antique Military Hickok Electric Tube Tester Tested US Navy Model 540
This is a Vintage Hickok model 540 Tube Tester. This was powered on and the lights came on and appears to be working fine. I don't know much about these devices but it appears to be in good running condition. This machine is around 70 years old. There is definite wear to this machine. Please check pics. This is an Estate find. as is condition. This was used by the US Navy and has the logo on the case. Several tubes were in the box. Along with an rca 1948 tube guide. Shipping includes insurance and signature.

A Very nice B K 747 Tube Tester that was fully serviced just 2 years ago. All controls were cleaned and lubricated and calibrated to factory specs. This tester reads acurately and all functions work smoothly. Very nice cosmeticly and appears almost new. Will be well packed and insured for safe shipping
