A vintage/original c.1960's Accurate Instrument Co. Inc. Model 257 Tube Tester w/ it's original poor condition Manual. As found at a recent estate sale, I plugged it in& it powered right up. Looks like a good repair/ restoration project or parts unit to me. Visually it appears to be in nice/decent original condition showing light to moderate overall wear w/ surface rust on the exterior metal surfaces. Vintage Hickok Model 752 Tube Tester With Manual And Accessories
Here for considering is a vintage Hickok Model 752 Tube Tester. This tester comes with its original manual. And the accessories that were left in the rear storage compartment of the case. I am offering this as-is, because I am not sure if it is fully functional. It does power up, and I did a line test, and it does work as well(photo 3) All the knobs and buttons do function properly. The roll chart is present, and there are no issues with it. It does scroll up and down, with no problems. The tubes that are with the other accessories are untested, so I am not sure if they are good or not. But they came with this, and will stay with it, if sold. Overall, this is in cosmetically good shape. The metal protective corner pieces, latches, etc. do have surface rust. Latches and handle are intact, and do function properly. The case shows wear that ... moreis consistent with age and use, but still in pretty nice shape. Please look over the photos provided, for a better idea of what is being offered, and its condition. This really is a nice tester to think about, and I wish I could positively state if it works or not. If there is another type of test I could do for you on this, please let me know. Realistic Tube Battery Continuity Tester & Manual, TBC T-B-C 22-20-32 22-2032
This is a repaired and tested Realistic TBC tube. Battery and continuity tester. Radio Shack packed a lot of functionality into a compact box. The tube tester is a nice one and does a good job of identifying weak tubes. The emission tester part of the instrument was calibrated. I tested some known weak tubes that read GOOD on many emission testers. This T-B-C did not make that mistake and called the tubes weak. It also had no trouble identifying leaky and shorted tubes. This tester is good for testing"modern" vacuum tubes including the following bases: Loctal(8-pin) Octal(8-pin) Compactron(12-pin) Nuvistor(5-pin) Novar Noval(9-pin miniature) 9+1 pin miniature(like Noval with center pin) 7-pin miniature So it will handle most post-WW2 tubes including rock'n roll(6L6. EL34, 12AX7, EL84, 7025 etc. transmitter, sweep, radio& ... moreTV. All of the sockets are tight and in good shape. The switches, selectors and controls are all good. The case is in good shape, the meter has a crack but is easily readable. The meter pointer is a little bouncy, but I think that's how these things were made. The battery tester works but was not calibrated. I replaced one of the battery voltage divider resistors that was way out of tolerance, the rest are close enough, but not in perfect calibration. The continuity checker works like it should. Test leads are not included. The tester comes with a manual which is not original. It's one I put together from other manuals for identical tube testers. I wrote the battery and continuity test sections in the manual and edited the test charts as needed to work with the faceplate layout of the TBC. All in all. This tester is ready to go and will accurately test the emission of over 800 tubes. For a good description of the overall physical shape. Please see the pictures. US only. No international sales. Up for auction is our vintage Knight KG-600B tube tested with manual and tube spec charts/scrolls for testing. This is my last tube tester since almost all of the tubes from our store have gone to new owners. As-is. As-pictured. Worn/well-used and 100% fully functional, reliable and dependable. Cosmetically, the handle is missing on the case and the outside trim is detaching.this tube tester is worn and well-used so please don't expect mint new condition. The test panel is in great shape and the tester itself works 100% fine. Over this last year I tested many many vintage tubes with this Knight KG-600B and never had a problem or issue with readings or accuracy. I used the KG-600B especially to test the older 4. 5, 6, and 7-pin tubes. Selling my last tester because I am moving out of the radio/tv tube business. Hickok TV-7/U Tube Tester w/Manual. Vintage Military!!
You are bidding on a Hickok TV-7/U electron tube test set. Includes the manual from Departments of the Army and the Air Force dated September 1953. Unit serial no: 468. Check the pictures. Unit appears in very good condition. I cannot attest to its operational accuracy or calibration because I never used it. I'm a Marshall amp junkie. And bought this thinking I could check my amp tubes with it. Then I realized I'm a far better bass player than an electronics tech, so it's better to let those who know how to do that do it and just pay them. B&K 607 Dyna Jet Solid State Vacuum Tube Tester, Setup Guide, Manual CALIBRATED
Up for sale is a repaired. Tested and working B&K Dyna Jet 607 Tube Tester. This unit is B&K's clone of the Sencore Mighty Might VII(TC162) You can see an excellent write-up of this unit at TubeSound's website: Overall. This tester is in decent condition and works. The lid has a crack in one of the corners and the case has seen some use. The case is a hard plastic and has held up well. For details of overall condition, please see the pictures. I tested every socket except#8 for which I don't have any tubes. I checked the wiring to#8 and it looks fine. In the unusual case that you need to test a 5BC3 tube. I'm pretty sure this socket will also work. The lockout switches and all controls work as they should. Everything tested worked as it should. I calibrated the short and grid leakage circuits. The short and power lights ... morework. The leakage and quality tests worked as expected for all the tubes I tested. As described in the TubeSound blog. I checked the test voltage-load combinations for all LOAD settings A through J. All voltages and resistive loads were well within spec. The original meter was broken and I replaced it with a new meter. It had the same rating but a different faceplate. So I made a faceplate for it to match the B&K original. The grid clip is also a new replacement and not original. Included with the tester is an original Setup Guide which is in good shape. A little dirty from use but very legible. Also included is a bound copy of the Instruction Manual. The manual includes a calibration procedure, parts list and schematic. The manual is easy to read, but the schematic is hard to read. Lafayette Tube Tester with Carrying Case and Instruction Manual
Hello and welcome to my auction! I'm still helping my mom empty out my grandmother's apartment. So I'll be listing several new attic finds over the next few weeks. Please keep in mind that these things have all been in storage for a number of years and the packages/items are dirty/dusty and musty smelling. All items have been stored indoors away from light and moisture. You are looking at a Lafayette Tube Tester with Original Carrying Case and Instruction Manual. There are some small scuffs/scratches on the plastic window that covers the reader portion and a deep surface scratch about an inch long near the 7 Pin Aligner; there is some sticker residue that can be easily removed with the proper cleaning solution; the plug and cord appear to be in good order; the case closes securely but has some chipping at the corners. Which can ... morebe seen in the photos. When I plugged this in it immediately started to hum and the needle jumped. But it is being sold AS-IS and I can make no guarantee as to whether or not it is in proper working order. I have included several photos and they should be considered as part of the description. Vintage 1959 CENTURY Fast Check Tube Tester - Model FC 2 w/ Manual
Vintage 1959 Century Fast Check Tube Tester. Very Cool. Vintage Tube Tester from CENTURY Electronics(Mineola New York) Comes in hardwood case with original manual. Manuel indicates it is from 1959. I Believe it is Model Number FC2 from my research, but I am not 100% sure. This Tube tester is Untested(as I have no way to test it) but it has been plugged in. And it powers up. Only condition issue I could find is that the selector knob appears to be stuck, with some skill it can likely be taken off and unstuck. As indicated above. It powers on, but is otherwise untested- selector knob is stuck. See the pictures for better details. I can accept returns. But the buyer has to pay for all shipping costs in both directions. I thin the power switch/dial needs to be replaced it comes on in the off position and off in the on position. All other switches seem to work as they are supposed to. Nice used Sencore TC-136A. MIghty Mite IV electronic tube tester. Works good and comes with an after market service manual/setup charts. Case is nice and the covering is not damaged, hardware is OK. Has the typical light scratches on the face of the unit, comes from use. Still looks very nice. Used it to check several hundred old tubes, obtained from an electronics shop. Nice sized unit that does the job well without moving around a large suitcase sized tester. Sencore has the reputation of having the best grid leakage test on the market. Superior Instruments Model TV-11 Tube Tester.Ca.1955 Case,manual.radio,TV tubes?
Bought two vintage tube testers from the son of the original owner. Said he kept these around enough years. Selling these and a couple vintage floor radios that has been in his family since he was small. This is a Superior Instruments of White Plains.NY model TV-11. The fellow I bought it from said he is sure it works and that his father ran a radio repair shop someplace. I do not know how to test this. I plugged it in. When I turn the power switch to on the needle goes to the center of the guage( shown in pictures) If I turn the line adj. knob the needle does move a bit as I assume it should. I don't know how to test this in any fashion. There is an old Delco Electron tube in a small box which will be included. The cord looks OK and certainly works. Does have the original manual( dated 1955 on the front in a date on the wiring revision ... moresheet in back) There is another"questions and answers" book by Superior that say for Model TC-55 and TD-55 but someone has written in pen that also for TV-11 for what that is worth. The rolling chart at the bottom seems to roll but it is quite sticky(turns hard) and should be cleaned to turn smoothly but it is probably complete. Did not disassemble unit. Case is pretty good shape in general but does have quite a few scratches and would need refinishing if one is concerned about such things. I am selling this unit AS IS.this means no returns or refunds. Please. I will start the bidding at $.99 so please only pay what you think it is worth in its present"not fully serviced" condition. Vintage Radio City tube tester w/ original cord, test leads, Manual, schematic
I used this Vintage 1940's Radio City tube tester for several years in which it worked flawlessly. But then the gauge needle broke and i attempted to repair with no success. So just needs a gauge to become operable again. Dovetailed box needs refinished, the top and bottom have a couple of laminate layers that have separated. But the tester is in great condition, includes voltmeter test leads, an excellent original Bakelite cord, as well as an original operation manual with detailed schematic and tube testing chart.

This is a Dyna Jet 606 Tube Tester that that came from a former TV repair shop. This unit has excellent tube sockets that are tight and does not appear to have had much use. It appears that the unit was carried around much more than it was used. Has original power cord. Has original ground clip and comes with a copy of the instruction manual and tube chart. I am offering this vintage Jackson 648 tube tester. The previous owner said it worked. However I have no way of testing it. So I am selling it for parts or project, AS-IS. It also comes with the manuals as shown. I was told by a few old timers not to plug these in, it might damage the capacitors.
