It weighs almost 15 lbs. unpacked. The ... morecase laying down is 12 3/4" wide x 13 3/4" deep x 6" tall. The wood case has scratches from use and one tiny chip. Shown in the pictures, but is intact. The AC cord is dried out and should be replaced. The"line adjust" control and knob are missing, the 2 wires that were attached to it inside are taped off. The cabinet had 2 sets of 4 rubber feet originally. The four when sitting horizontally are all removed. There is one of the four missing for vertical position. It looks like there was a metal label on the outside gone as well. I don't see why someone with a little electronics savvy wouldn't be able to fix this with little effort.

Vintage Precision Apparatus Model 700 Tube Battery Tester radio tv papers
This vintage tube tester is in great cond. It is a Model 700 made by Precision Apparatus Co. Brooklyn NY USA. All knobs and dials and roller work smoothly. I have powered this tester up and it does power up. The needle on the gauge moves. It is not broken or stuck. The wooden box has dovetail corners and is in great cond. Box has a Sylvania decal.Handle hinges and closures are all great. It has a leather handle. The power cord has hardened and the outer coating is cracking off however it does work.This is a really nice tube tester in a really nice box. As with all electrical items I sell I cannot guarantee it works only that it does power up. There is an instructional booklet and it says Operating Instructions for Series 700. Shipping is 50.00 in USA and Canada. Check out the Precision 612 tube tester I have listed.

Vintage Precision Series 910 Electron Tube Tester
Series 910 vintage tube tester made by Precision Apparatus Company(Paco) Tube roll dates it from 1952. No owners manual. Metal case as shown in pictures. No outer wooden case or lid. Tested a couple of tubes to check its working condition. Tube tester is working. However, unable to verify the readings as do not have another tube tester to compare. Tests vintage tubes 4, 5, 7 pins, octal, loctal and miniature 9 pin tubes. The metal plate shows signs of age- please look at all enlarged pictures to see what the winner will receive. The tester comes with two original Precision Books including a Supplementary Tube Data for tubes that are not included on the built in roll chart and and the other is Tube Test Data which mainly mirrors the roll chart but has lots of other information for tubes not on the chart such as Novars and Compactrons and some later tubes. The tester is in excellent working condition and the front operators panel is actually in very nice original condition showing very minimal wear however the wood case does show obvious wear from years of reliable use. Here is a vintage. Working tube tester by Precision. It could like use a calibration, but I tested a couple tubes with it and everything seems to be working well. The lead for tubes having a top contact has come free from the actual cap that goes on the tube, but it will be inluded and can be repaired. There are also some documents and an adapter. Precision Model 912 Tube Tester This is an old Tube Tester that I believe was first manufactured in the late 1940’s by the Precision Apparatus Co. Elmhurst. New York. The case is in good physical condition with just the normal scuffs and scrapes for a 60 year old unit. When the unit is powered on. The meter moves from the red zone to the yellow zone(See pictures) but that is all I can tell about the working condition of the unit. It comes with multiple rolls of tube data that provide the info for different tube specifications. It also has what appears to be an addition 9 pin test socket adapter for smaller tubes. This tube tester is in decent condition for it's age. I tried it with several different tubes and it appears to work correctly. I did not try every socket and would assume the switches could use cleaning. There are five paper rolls beside the one in the machine. there is also an ad from 1958 for the company and a letter dated 1972 checking for an update. The case has some deep scratches and the hinges are missing from the cover. The original foil tag is still on the handle as well. Thanks for looking.

VINTAGE 1947 PRECISION TUBE MASTER TESTER SERIES 10 12 W BOOKS & IN GREAT COND!!
Here is a vintage Precision Tube Master Series 10-12 Tube and Battery Tester that's in very nice and also in as very clean condition. Its marked and was made by Precision Apparatus Company in Elmhurst New York and research told me the Series 10-12 was introduced in 1947 and that it was the foundation model for the Precision Series 10-15, 10-20, 10-22 and 10-54 models, research also told me that when these are found there wood cases are usually heavily damaged with scratches, stains and chipped from field use but notice in the photos this wood case didn't even know what field use was looking like new. I think the reason this is in such nice condition is that it was not used much at all, it came out of a very clean and well to do home and it was found neatly wrapped in a blanket inside a trunk. This has been plugged in with lights working ... moreas well as its meter working plus notice its also with many booklets. This is heavy and a large unit measuring with lid closed 17 1/4 inches long by 14 inches wide by 7 inches deep and it doesn't show in the photos but it also has four feet on its back side like showing on its bottom in the photos. Precision High Speed Roll Chart Vacuum Tube Tester
This is the roll chart assembly for Precision tube testers models: 10-12 10-15 10-20 10-22 10-54 Part number is RM-10 Form MRC-H2G) Probably the chart version) This is the"High speed" version It rolls from one end to the other without any problems. The paper isn't torn or damaged. As you can see in the pictures someone in the past has made a correction on the data for one tube. I am not aware if the correction is acurate. There is also light surface rust on the steel parts of the assembly. The gears however are clean and roll beautifully. It has three holes for mounting 5inches apart one from the other. Series 920 Precision Apparatus Company Electronamic tube and set tester
The front has a missing clasp which is shown in one of the pictures. It also has some scratches on the wood. The machine powers up and as far as I know it works fine. It came with an extensive manual as well as red and black test leads as shown in the picture.

This is a gorgeous tube tester. I used it to test several tubes after a thorough cleaning and polishing. All pots and switches were cleaned with de-oxit gold. The wood cabinet has been refinished using Mohawk satin lacquer. Roll chart moves nicely end to end. Will test all the important tubes including the old four pinners and the newer 12AX7's. This is a vintage electronic tube tester set in the original wooden box. The box is in rough shape but still sound. There is a handle on the case that is in good condition. The unit comes with 2 different plug-in cables with 3 different adapters as well as the power plug. The unit powers up when plugged in. And by moving a few switches I see the"leakage" light illuminate as well. I have no other way of testing the operation of this unit but it does turn on. It also comes with the original Manual. Here is a vintage meter for the series 920 Electronamic tube& set tester made by the Precision Apparatus Co. of Elmhurst. NY. It measures decibels, AC& DC voltage, ohms, tubes and diodes. It measures 4.625" wide by 4.125" high. It has mounting screw centers of 4" by 3.625" The mounting hardware is included. It has a nice black bakelite case with no cracks, chips or hairlines. The glass cover is in nice shape as well. It has a screw adjustment for zeroing the needle on the front. This would make a great replacement for your non-working meter! Precision Model 620 Dynamic Conductance Tube Tester
For your consideration is a Precision Model 620 Dynamic Conductance Tube Tester. The tester works great and seems to be accurate. But the meter is a little“sticky” The meter is fine as long as you tap it to make sure it settles down correctly(which you are supposed to do anyway) I suspect there is some dust in the meter vane but I am not a meter repair person and I’m not going to attempt to clean it and end up bending the needle, etc. My hands just aren’t steady enough. I’ve tested a lot of tubes with it and it works fine. The case could use a coat of clear varnish to perk it up after all these years. The handle and hinges are good but it could use new rubber feet. It will test 8 pin octals. 7& 9 pin miniatures, 9& 12 pin compactrons and 5 pin nuvistors. Additionally checks for shorts and gas( grid leakage) It is a solid state design. So there are no tubes inside that would ever need replacing. Modern amplifier tubes it will test include: 5U4. 6AQ5, 6L6, 6SN7, 6V6, 12AX7, EL84, KT88. Vintage PRECISION APPARATUS CO Series 920 Electronamic Tube and Set Tester
For your consideration is one vintage Precision Apparatus Company series 920 Electronamic Tube and Set Tester. It weighs almost 15 lbs. unpacked. The case laying down is 12 3/4" wide x 13 3/4" deep x 6" tall. The wood case has scratches from use and one tiny chip. Shown in the pictures, but is intact. The AC cord is dried out and should be replaced. The"line adjust" control and knob are missing, the 2 wires that were attached to it inside are taped off. The cabinet had 2 sets of 4 rubber feet originally. The four when sitting horizontally are all removed. There is one of the four missing for vertical position. It looks like there was a metal label on the outside gone as well. I don't see why someone with a little electronics savvy wouldn't be able to fix this with little effort.
