They staged educaton seminars for technitions back then, showing off all of the advanced features the MU150 had, compared to other types of portables. Sencore MU-150 Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Fully Functional
Due to having 2 of these testers. I have decided to sell one of them. This is a Sencore MU-150 mutual conductance tube tester that was electrically restored and calibrated in March, 2003. I would very safely say that I have tested about 25 tubes on it since then. It works great. I ran a test this morning on a 12AU7, seen in the photos, and it performed fine. There is normal wear on the unit, to be expected. There is a date inside the unit on the meter back of 1968. The 2 tubes it uses were both tested on the other like it and tested good for emissions, shorts, and mutual conductance. This is a great tester for folks that like to"tube roll" their amplifiers. Sencore MU 140 Tube Tester works well in VG-EX condition
This Sencore tube tester is in pretty good shape and is fully functional. Everything works and the tester seems to be accurate. Even though I have not calibrated it. Cosmetically the tester is in Very Good shape. The case is in excellent shape with some marks. The most serious flaw is that the previous owner tried to clean the faceplate with an abrasive cleaner and managed to wipe off some numerals from one of the center setting dials(see photos) I don't see this a problem as there were only three or four figures erased-any user can figure what the settings are without the numbers. You can see from the photos a small demonstration of the Sencore running a test on both a bad tube and a NOS tube. Included with the Sencore is the manual and the tube settings book. This was originally glued to the inside of the lid. But fell off. I'm ... moreleaving it off in case the buyer wants it that way. Its a nice little tester which includes emissions. Mutual conductance, and life tests. Sorry. But NO International Shipping.
