This item is in good condition with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use. There are no significant scratches on the item. The power connectors are in good condition as well. The glass covering the meter is in good condition with no chips or cracks. Please refer to the photos below for more details on the item. This item was first showing below zero but with a small screwdriver we calibrated it back to zero. We then connected this item to an external power source and started at a low voltage and it showed the correct voltage. We then tested at a high voltage and it showed the correct voltage as well. Weston Electrical Instrument Corp. Model 931 DC Volt Meter This is a very nice vintage volt meter. Has three ranges. 0-3vdc, 015vdc, and 0-150vdc. Everything is fine on this meter and it looks like it has been well cared for. The original leather handle is attached and in super shape. All the rubber feet on the back and bottom of the meter are in fine shape. I plugged this meter on my calibrator and it was working within a few percent on all three ranges. Vintage Weston AC Amp Meter Model 156 100 amp
Up for auction is a vintage Weston AC amp meter with 100 amps full scale. It is a model number 156 with serial number 58413. I used a AA battery to test it and it did deflect the needle but do not know about the calibration. This meter has Patent dates of June 1892. July 1894 and April 1913. The face Measures approx. 6 1/2" across and the back flange is approx. 7 1/4. The meter is 3" from front to back with the 1/2" studs for the connection extending another 2" The meter itself weighs in at almost 7 pounds. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. This is a Vintage Weston Model 633 Clamp-on Amperes Meter. It is used and some what old it looks to be in good shape. I haven't found any cracks or breaks it is a little dirty from storage. The glass covering over the face is in good condition. Mechanically, I am not a handy or mechanical person so I do not know if it works or how it works. It has not been tested. I believe this meter is surplus from the laboratories of Wright Field. Dayton Ohio. The instrument is functioning. Although I have no idea if the function is correct or accurate. I tested by connecting a battery across the posts. The needle responded. I have no idea if the response was correct. Markings from dial: Milliamperes D.C. Weston Electrical Instrument Corp. Newark, N.J. U.S.A. Model 489 No. 37646 Meter measures 3 3/16 wide x 3 7/8 inches long and is 1 7/8 inch tall.
