Stuff I bought cause it looks cool and is of no use to me at all. this is a pretty old multimeter. It has various coils that can be attached to give various ranges of amp measurements stored under the lid on the left, and the scale for amps is on a hexagonal prism that can be rotated to pick the appropriate scale. Everything is fine on this meter and it looks like it has been well cared for. The original leather handle is attached and in super shape. All the rubber feet on the back and bottom of the meter are in fine shape. I plugged this meter on my calibrator and it was working within a few percent on all three ranges. These are all Weston meters by"WESTON ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT CORP. NEWARK N.J. U.S.A. The black bakelite cases have RCA on them from whatever larger unit they were a part of. The meters are OHMS PER VOLT. MILLIAMPERES D.C. AMPERES D.C. VOLTS A.C. They appear in very good shape. We haven't tested them. Being sold As Is. The particle board they are on will not be shipped, only the meters.

Up for bids is a Weston model 269 dc volt meter with a range of 0- 75 volts dc. The first picture shows the meter hooked up to a car battery. The are no cracks or broken pieces. The distance between the mounting lugs is 3 and 3/8 inches. The mounting lugs are 2 and 3/4 inches long.

We have 3 gauges available. When testing a 1.5v battery they all read the same. One of the gauges would not return to 0 without tapping the meter. To my limited knowledge of how they are built is like a watch. Which tells me that it needs lubrication. The gauge fits a 2 3/4" hole and has a 3 1/2" outer face ring. Black in Color. 2 test Leads included in Red and Black Meter case is Solid. Minor scratches on bottom. on back in print D3 over 34. What ever that means. There are 3 terminals on Top of Meter a + terminal. A 150 terminal and a 300 terminal. Overall Meter in great shape. As I said strap handle strong. Some scratches and wear. Case great shape some age wear here or there and light finger prints. Meter itself has a nice weight to it. This meter is something from the past. Nostalgic from 1940-50,s. Sold only IN USA. This is a very old Weston Electrical Instrument Corp desk test meter. I tested it in all ranges. 150, 300 and 600 Volts both AC and DC. All readings were right on according to my fluke 87. I acquired it as part of a U.S. Government sale years ago. The wooden box shows considerable aging but is in very good condition other than the surface. The hinges, handle and clasps work fine. The faceplate reads; Volts alternating& direct current Model 341 18989.

I tested the functionality by briefly connecting a 9 v battery to the meter. The needle responded normally. The previous owner wrote 260 ohm 400 uA on the back side. Mild to moderate cosmetic wear.
