Here we have a very early lab volt educational multimeter. I believe this set up came from an educational environment. This one has a very cool retro vintage look. It does work and I assume it still could be used. This is a combined unit including lab volt AA 766 meter panel. AA 772 AC/DC power supply, AA 771 DC power supply, AA 760 electrical VOM, AA 759 filler panel, and AA 778 AF generator. These don't come around every day. I bought this new maybe 10-12 years ago and barely used it. Someone who needs this should have it. The instruction manual for these is impossible to find so don't miss out! It has been completely checked out and is functional and accurate on all scales and all settings. The top and bottom case is in VERY good condition. No little wear showing on the lense(which still has the lense cover intact. The tilt stand. The battery cover, the IR window and the battery connection clips are in excellent condition. The LCD numerals are complete(with NO missing segments) All extra large display. Components, pushbuttons, functions and connectors are checked out and operational. I have also shown the meter with a measured 1 VDC reading, a 10 VAC reading and a 100 kOhms reading which all come from my calibrator. Also ... moreshown is an ambient temp reading. Ser# 96240159 Many Ebay sellers do not mention that the fuses of these meters have been blown AND they are expensive to replace. Additionally. They do not add that the batteries are either depleted or entirely missing. ALL six AAA batteries and fuses are new. Also, and most importantly, they do not even know many times, that the input bridge(the input jacks which are on a single module) have broken, or weak, contacts. The input bridge on this unit has been quality checked so there are many good years in this multimeter. Another common problem with this model is the leakage of batteries which run down and discharge/lead even with the meter off. This meter has been quality check(repaired if needed) against that problem so rest assured there is no battery problem. I particularly like this model because the fuses and batteries can be changed out without having to open the casing, where most outer shell damage occurs. Besides the Fluke 289.
