Item recovered from a local technical facility. Tested and sold AS IS. Auction is for a Fluke 8050A Digital Multimeter With-01 Battery Option. Unit seems to be all there, with a couple small scuffs on the case and a little dirty here and there. There is a small piece of plastic broke off(pic 2) but does not affect functionality of unit. Has carrying handle that works fine. Two black rubber feet on bottom are intact. Plugged unit into household current and charged overnight. Unplugged unit from household current and used internal battery power to test. Pushed green POWER ON button and came up with 0's on display. Don't know how long these run between calibrations, but this unit has red sticker that says CALIBRATION NOT REQUIRED For Engineering Use Only. Can probably be calibrated if needed, but testing shows it is pretty accurate. ... moreThe multimeter takes a D-style power cord, which will be included. Will not include probes, ones in picture are my test probes and aren't very good, but good enough to check items with. Checked DC battery, AC outlet and a resister on both Fluke and another newer digital meter to compare amounts. As you can see with battery, they are both the same. Ran out of pics, but did show meter plugged into 110 outlet, and shows 119 volts, which is fine. Newer meter checked about the same. Also did a resistance check with this and newer meter, and it was right on again. Did not check amperage because that is a real hassle(meter has to be inline with the circuit) Don't know how long battery power will last, but had no problems with running out of power when testing.
