This is a Vintage Mulitimeter ME- 9 B/U with a multiplier kit MX- 815/U. This is a vintage Multimeter from the militiary at least it looks like military tool. It was in my grandfathers basement and has been there for over 25 years. I do not know anything about these. I have no way of testing it so it is being sold as is. The front cover is missing. This very heavy unit requires one BA30 battery and three 4 1/2 volt BA 31 batteries. The battries found in this unit are marked DAAB07-83-D-H311 0583. The battery compartment is clean and in ok condition. The old batteries can not be shipped with the unit as the post office does not allow this. Again. This is sold as is as I can not test the unit. It comes with what is in the pictures as I am not sure if it is suppose have anything else. It is very heavy so shipping is high sorry about this.

Just trying to lighten the load here. I realize there are some things here I'll never get to. I like this meter because. Other than being build to take anything, it will measure up to 6000 volts with the multiplier. I did test it using a 9V battery and the meter works fine(see pix) But did not take out the 900 screws to check the battery. So I am selling it as is, TECH SPECIAL.AS IS. I would guess it has had little use. The case is scratched up and a little paint would do wonders. But the front panel is nice. Free manual here: Apparently is is similar to the Simpson. I have up for sale this beautiful military style multimeter by the Weston Co. This is model# ME-87/U. It comes in a extremely well built case with a rubber lined lid. The photos show the different voltages this great little unit will measure. I have not tested this as I don't know how to use it. The case measures about 5" square and 3" deep.

This Model 27FM military unit and is in good used condition and it has been completely checked out and is functional on all scales and all settings. This unit came out of military stores and was calibrated as part of the acceptance and was kept on a metrology(calibration) cycle. According to regs, and was kept in tip top shape. This is a very fine and durable military multimeter. I cannot verify the calibration of the unit. But it appears close and it does work. The same is grey painted aluminum, no plastic here. There is an applied label on top that says"Avionics Test Equipment. It has batteries in it that may need to be changed. If you don't intend to use this right away. You should remove the batteries. Several test leads are included. Although a vintage unit. I believe that this is a fine piece of test equipment. This will look great on your workbench or in your collection. Vintage Military VTVM Multimeter TS-505D/U Navy Gray
Up For Sale is a Vintage Military VTVM Multimeter in Navy Gray. Unit in Good Condition for it's age. Unit has been TESTED and WORKS. Testing done was AC Volts(using the Red AC Probe and the Common Black Probe Measuring 115V Line Voltage. Ohms. Using the Green Ohms and Black Common Probes. On the x1 ohms scale, a 47ohm resistor read 26 ohms. This is common with multimeters that the x1 scale is not as accurate. as the other Ohms scales.The other scales were good using a 1.5 meg resistor. DC Volts were measured with the DC Black and the Common Black Probes. Read a nine volt battery. Pretty accurate. Unit might need Calibration or repair to be very accurate. PHAOSTRON Multimeter Model# TS-352B/U) Hello! and thank you for looking at my item. Up for bids is a used test meter manufactured by Phaostron. This meter was produced by different Companies around or about 1955 or so. This item was mostly used by the U.S. Military. The model number of the millimeter is ME-9G/U. There is also an attached multiplier kit with the model number of MX-815 B/U. The overall combined set is model number TS-352B/U. The meter has not been tested but was given a detailed inspection. This is a battery powered unit. Batteries are not included. All of the writing on the front of meter is legible. There are 4 cracked areas on the front of the meter. All of the original knobs on front are present. They turn smoothly and properly lines up with the selected settings. The glass lens on the meter is in tact with no major scratches ... moreor cracks. The needle on the scale bounces and moves smoothly. The unit appears to be in good operational shape other than the cracks on the front panel. The unit is clean on the inside with no burn marks or smells emitting from the unit. The exterior metal case of the unit has some minor scratches and fading paint. Carrying handle and exterior case latches are in good shape. No operators manual or test probes. Excellent edition to any vintage radio collector and or radio/component repairer.
