I believe this meter is surplus from the laboratories of Wright Field. Dayton Ohio. The instrument is functioning. Although I have no idea if the function is correct or accurate. I tested by connecting a battery across the posts. The needle responded. I have no idea if the response was correct. Markings from dial: Milliamperes D.C. Weston Electrical Instrument Corp. This Weston AC Voltmeter looks to be in pretty good condition. There's some letters& numbers scratched on the front but other than that. I didn't see any more scratches. The leather handle is just slightly showing wear. It comes in a hard. Sturdy leather case with purple velvet lining. The outside of the case is a little banged and scratched up and the leather handle is showing some wear. The latch still works and it still has all four feet! The inside is pretty nice. The color is just barely starting to fade near the top and there's 4 indentations from the feet of the meter at the bottom. It could use a little cleaning also. I don't know how to test this.
