Accuracy said to be ¼ of 1% of Full Scale. Resistance at each range is 1098.4, 2196.8, 4393.6 at 25 Deg. C. 75 V terminal knob was replaced. Crack in Bakelite at upper right of panel at +/ terminal has no effect on the instrument. Some scratches on the box. Leather on handle is strong but outer layers flaking. Wt is 11 lbs 6 oz.

For auction is a Vintage Weston DC Voltmeter. Model 901, circa 1956. I am basing the date on what is stamped on the back of the piece(pictured) I don’t have the proper tools or know-how to test it so I am auctioning it strictly AS-IS and untested. This piece has the kinds of dings and scuffs you would expect from a vintage piece but no cracks that I can see. One of the two testing wires is missing(pictured) But that shouldn’t be hard to fix/ replace. This piece can use a good light cleaning but I didn’t do anything to the surface as I know collectors like to determine what needs done. It has what looks like the original leather handle. Vintage Weston DC Voltmeter. Model 45 Serial Number 56833, Dated Sept. 1946 A few specific things you should know about this voltmeter. It is in really good condition. It has all the original knobs and leather handle. It is hard to find one that still has the knobs and handle. The Serial number is 56833 and it is hand dated and signed on September 17. 1946. The case has a few wear marks on it, that I believe would clean up nicely with some wood polish. I did not clean it up myself, so that the next owner had the option to clean it up or not. There are 2 little, looks like screw marks on the front, as if it had another metal label on it. This could be filled if you wanted with some wood filler. Very nice and working vintage voltmeter. Looks very much like a Weston 931 but I can't find their name on it(unless it is underneath one of the labels) I tested it with a 9V battery and it did measure the right value. It does not mean that the instrument is calibrated, though, it has been sitting in storage for decades. It will look great on a vintage radio repair bench.
