Weston Electrical Instrument Corp. Model 931 DC Volt Meter This is a very nice vintage volt meter. Has three ranges. 0-3vdc, 015vdc, and 0-150vdc. Everything is fine on this meter and it looks like it has been well cared for. The original leather handle is attached and in super shape. All the rubber feet on the back and bottom of the meter are in fine shape. I plugged this meter on my calibrator and it was working within a few percent on all three ranges. This is a nice meter and needs a good home. If you get it and don't like it. Send it back. If you make an offer, make a reasonable offer. I am thinking of keeping this one myself. This is a vintage set of Weston Model 528 Voltmeter and Ammeter. They are previously used but have not been tested to see if they are currently in working condition. They were first produced in 1929 and these particular models feature Bakelite cases. The Voltmeter measures up to 150 volts. The Ammeter has a low range of 0-3 amps and high range of 0-15 amps. Here is a real old vintage meter. It was made by Weston Electric in Newark NJ. USA. The pat. date is Nov.8 1888. For as old as it is it is in fairly good shape. I don't know if you would call the face brass or not. It is a heavy metal like brass but has more of a chrome color to it with may be a little brass in it.One of the little rubber feet is missing for when you set it up the one way. This would make a good display piece.It is not very often you find them as old as this.The meter goes to 140 volt. It can read positive or negative. I put 14 volts to it and the needle did move. The I reversed the polarity and the needle moved the other way. I believe it is in working order.I think the case is oak. it all most looks like Tiger Oak. Feel free to email questions or comments.

1937 Weston Electrical Instrument Corp Amp Meter Model 430 w/ Zero Correct Works
This item is a Weston Electrical Corporation D.C. Amp Meter. Model 430. The meter still functions perfectly. It has a Zero Correction Knob, as well so you can calibrate it to fit any of your needs. The four knobs on the top are for Ground, 0.1 V, 1V, and 10V source measurements. The first calibration shown for the device was August 28th, 1937! It was used in a physics lab until recently, and has been maintained and calibrated during that time by the department's equipment curators. It is great little meter, and a piece of history. They don't make them like this anymore.I bought a multimeter a couple years ago and it is already broken. This beauty is still accurately measuring amperage after 77 years! It may need a little bit of external cleaning. I believe the exterior is Bakelite, so you can shine it up, quite brilliantly, with some ... morelightly abrasive metal polish. I have a few of these meters that I have collected over the years. Which are now collecting dust. So I am putting several of them up for sale to good homes. Please only purchase this item if you plan to use it as a museum or even simply as a conversation piece. While I appreciate the artistry of the Steam Punk movement. I would feel a tinge of sadness knowing that this item was dissected for its"old timey" parts. These meters, in working condition, are becoming quite rare, and it is definitely something any electronics, antique, or even Steam Punk enthusiast can appreciate in its original"w hole"form. This is a beautiful antique piece that was designed to test the voltage of various electronic equipment. This piece was made in 1918 by the Weston Electrical Instrument Company in Newark. New Jersey. The piece is built into a beautiful wood case(likely oak, but we're not certain) with brass latches and hinges. The case opens up to reveal a lower panel with the original company paperwork tag that gives details on usage and the range it can measure. The top part of the interior is a textured metal panel with the volt meter in the center. Just below the badge is a"Correction" mechanism which allows you to calibrate the machine. This is a beautiful antique piece that would be great for any collectors of antique electronic equipment! Condition: This piece is antique and used with some wear. The piece has not been tested and we cannot confirm if it works or not. The wood case has some wear from use and age. Including some scratching, light dents and and chips in the wood.I believe there was another cap on the negative side at one time, no longer there. The interior is relatively clean with some light tarnishing from age and some fading and discoloration on the paper label from age. There may have originally been a leather handle on the exterior, but that piece is not included. Overall this is in nice condition for its age, and has a nice antique patina which gives it a classic look. None is set up like this one. I do not know what it is or if it works. It might work since the needle floats freely from side to side when moved; however. This meter is sold as-is. The gauge fits in with the steampunk style. The pictures do a better job by showing condition but… there is some spotting behind the glass mostly on the left side. It is a Weston Electrical Amperes meter. The meter is 6" tall x 5 3/4" wide x 8 1/4" deep. Including the posts. It weighs five and three quarter pounds. The latest patent date is 1913. There is a tag attached to one of the posts with a date of 1962. It has some paint scratches and rust spots but is otherwise in good used condition. I don't know if it works. How it works or if any parts are missing. A cool antique meter. Would look great with industrial furnishings.

This listing is for a Weston Electrical Instruments Model: 433 Ammeter and the Model: 756 Light Meter. You get both! The ammeter was used at Allied/Signal AiResearch labs before they bought out Honeywell and changed their name. You can still see the calibration stickers. The unit has definitely been used and shows normal wear. And the strap is drying out. It needs some cleaning. It does work and is also great for display. The light meter will be a non working unit. Unable to test it as I do not have the probes. This little guy needs TLC as he has adhesive from labels and a small area of paint overspray near the bottom.

You're bidding on the Weston volt meter it has the leads and case. Do not know if this meter functions. However is in very good condition for its age. There is a plate missing on the front of the meter on the bottom see photos. I do not no any further information about this meter.
