Vintage volt meter Record AC DC Voltmeter ammeter 87840 multimeter
Stuff I bought cause it looks cool and is of no use to me at all. this is a pretty old multimeter. It has various coils that can be attached to give various ranges of amp measurements stored under the lid on the left, and the scale for amps is on a hexagonal prism that can be rotated to pick the appropriate scale. My digital one does me fine, even if this one is much cooler. Message for more pics let me know what you want to see. Happy to post overseas. Vintage Heathkit Vacuum Voltmeter Tester AC DC OHMS Model V1
This is a Heathkit Volmeter that is from the early 1940's and is a very nice working unit that is missing the red poss test lead. It has a small crack on the upper left of the plastic window over the gauge and the plug also has a crack in it. I plugged it in and the light comes on instantly and bright. Manufactured in 1974 this meter is in'almost new' condition. No chips or cracks in the case. The leather handle retains its soft new feel and is not worn. The only distraction is the fact that AT&T branded it with their inventory number and someone engraved AT&T on the cover. Calibration is spot on. The last two photos compare readings of the meter and my Fluke 75. First photo is measuring the AC mains. Second photo is lower voltage AC through a Variac.
