The meter works as seen in the first picture. The probe is connected to a URM/25 signal generator set at 100K microvolts. The tip contact strip from the tip of the probe to the probe contact has been repaired and functions. This is an old piece of equipment and will definitely require calibration if not more repairs. The probe did not come with this meter and they must be calibrated to the specific meter they are going to used with. I have made no attempt to calibrate it. Up for sale is a HP 410A vacuum tube voltmeter. In used and fair cosmetic condition. The unit has a replaced power plug and can be powered on, but beyond that no way to test and as such it is assumed non-working and is sold as parts or collectible item. It was introduced in 1946 and was the first RF high frequency voltmeter which can be used to measure AC voltage of up to 700MC with the special diode, which was developed by ENMAC and was considered the first example of tailor-made components for HP instruments(there is more info on the web) The voltmeter was used by a retired US radio engineer and is in fair condition- the glass was broken as received(but replacing with a plexiglass should not be too difficult) The lower part of the case is slightly deformed, some paints came off and some rusts appear on those surface. rubber feet were lost. ... moreOther than that others including the probes seems to be complete. But again this has to be sold as non-working parts as something of almost 70 years old and for sure some professional work is needed to restore this back to normal working condition. Hello. You are bidding/looking at: Vintage Boonton Electronics RF Voltmeter Model 91CA w/ 91-12 Probe- Powers Up. This item is from an estate auction from a huge lot of vintage electrical components. Testing equipment and radios. Most of the collection is from the 40's and 50's, some military surplus. We tested and the unit powered on, gauge moved when probe was moved around. We do not know how to test it any further. Case is dark green metal there are scratches and visible wear and some minor rust from use and age.
