Vintage Simpson 392 AC/DC VOLT-WATTMETER: This Vintage circa 1950’s AC/DC VOLT-WATTMETER is used and in excellent physical and working condition. It has come from an estate of similar era meters and test equipment(see our other eBay items) The AC/DC Volt- VOLTS-METER has a dual wattage range of 0-1000 and 0-5000 AC/DC watts and a dual voltage range of 0-130 and 0-260 AC/DC volts. It features two switches one for watts and one for volts to change the scales. This meter has the owner’s name scratched into one side and otherwise it is in exceptional condition. This meter comes in its original fitted box which has a tear and a worn corner on the front top edge. The rubber leads attached to the meter are in excellent condition and the clasp and handle on the box are in very good condition. A wee bit dusty the meter is in very good shape. I see no cracks or chips. Glass intact. I took the back off and took photos. It did have a C Battery but I was unsure how to even test it so its AS IS. Has the red and black cords too. Box in okay shape.some shelf wear.the leather handle is cracked on the surface from being dry. Still secure. Pamplet in good shape. Nice color. Clean pages. Used but in very good condition for its age. The multimeter has some surface scuffs on the bottom and sides. But the face is scratch free. I ran it through a series of voltage checks, and they were spot on. I could not check the ohm section. There were no batteries in the unit, and it appears acid leak free, very clean(requires one D, and 4 AA batteries) The item is also missing the handle. Sold without box. Manual, or wires.
