Stuff I bought cause it looks cool and is of no use to me at all. this is a pretty old multimeter. It has various coils that can be attached to give various ranges of amp measurements stored under the lid on the left, and the scale for amps is on a hexagonal prism that can be rotated to pick the appropriate scale. It is in great condition with no scratches or marks. The battery is still in it and has no corrosion. This was a bench meter and kept in nice shape. It comes with the AC-DC probe. The meter window is almost completely clear and crack-free. Sorry. I don't have the manual but you can find scans online. I don't know enough about these to fully test or calibrate it, so I'm selling it as-is. However I can verify that the unit turns on, and the tubes are in good condition and the filaments light up like normal. It would be a great addition to a vintage electronic collection. The housing appears to be Bakelite and the face is clear plastic which appears to show very little to no age discoloration. There is no label or identifying serial number on the housing. There are two serial or identification numbers in fine print on the face near the bottom. They are 500R106 and0-4787P. The meter is functional I tested it with a low voltage battery. As the power source I had was at the maximum end of the scale ... moreI cannot tell you the accuracy of the readings. There is an adjustment screw on the face so if you had a reliable power source of known voltage you could likely set or adjust the meter. Please note there are no cable or leads with the meter. To test the meters functionality I made a pair of leads from sire soldered onto nails; the nails fit nicely into the ports on the top of the meter. The ports were for different scales. One port is black and reads negative[ The three other ports are red and are labeled 50. 500, and 1000. There are corresponding scales on the face of the meter. On the back side of the meter are two deep holes which likely have screws at the bottom. My guess is that if one wanted.One could take this little guy apart. I don’t want to as I would probably ruin it. Destroy it functionality, and never get it back together. I cannot date the meter precisely but I would guess that it is most likely from the middle 1960s. That was a time when I was futzing around building crystal radios and such and my dad was working as an electrician and would bring stuff home for me. This is a vintage General Electric clamp-on a m meter and voltmeter with a rotating scale in working used condition. It comes with its original leather case in somewhat rough shape but serviceable. The leads have been soldered to the base of the meter- don't know if this was original or a modification. But have just tested them and they do function. This is a heavy duty piece of equipment. Accuracy said to be ¼ of 1% of Full Scale. Resistance at each range is 1098.4, 2196.8, 4393.6 at 25 Deg. C. 75 V terminal knob was replaced. Crack in Bakelite at upper right of panel at +/ terminal has no effect on the instrument. Some scratches on the box. Leather on handle is strong but outer layers flaking. Wt is 11 lbs 6 oz.

vintage Philmore ac/dc volt meter model PNH200D
this vintage philmore volt meter has been in my grandpas tool box at least thirty years. Maybe longer. there is a small crack in the lense but hardly noticeable, i tried to show in photo, but doesnt show up. this meter has the original cords with it. it is marked model PNH200D, and lists 20,000 o/v DC, and 10,000 o/v AC and a whole bunch of other numbers. if you have any questions please ask. thanks for looking!
