Vintage Collectible- Heathkit IM-17 Solid State Voltmeter + carrying case
Heathkit IM-17 Solid State Voltmeter + plastic carrying case. The Utility Solid State Voltmeter IM-17 came on the market in 1967 and was produced until 1977. In 1979 the IM-17 was replaced by the IM-5217 and was produced until 1987. There is only minor differences between the two and it is mostly a matter of look and feel. This was my farther in laws and he wrote on the plastic case OFF? I don't know if this works or not. The batteries have been removed so there is no battery damage. pictures say the rest.

VINTAGE HEATHKIT VACUUM TUBE VOLTMETER MODEL V-7A Powers up fine. And upper light illuminates. I tested it on a few different batteries, and it shows voltage good. Ohms seem to work as well. I will not guarantee its effective use and calibration. But it seemed to work fine for me. Knobs are all in good condition. And cord is not cracked. Unit has a few light scratches. Heathkit IM 2215 Vintage DMM Multimeter with Leather Case and Leads TESTED
This is a cool old DMM that was tested and appears to be working fine with very little signs of use. It also comes with a leather carrying case with a compartment for the meter and another for the leads. It is also in good shape except the snaps on the belt loop holder have broken off. Vintage Heathkit Vacuum Voltmeter Tester AC DC OHMS Model V1
This is a Heathkit Volmeter that is from the early 1940's and is a very nice working unit that is missing the red poss test lead. It has a small crack on the upper left of the plastic window over the gauge and the plug also has a crack in it. I plugged it in and the light comes on instantly and bright. It has some paint specks on the side but will leave the cleaning to the buyer. This is a must have for any collector or anyone that works on old vintage equipment. Rare vintage Heathkit Vacuum Tube Volt Meter VTVM IM-32 inc manual
I've enjoyed owning this rare vintage meter- it took me back to the 60's when I first started dabbling in electronics. But now beside this I have a couple of moving coil meters, a digital Fluke and my O-scope, so I can manage without this. It's in good shape and looks to have been nicely assembled. The original owner made neat marks with a soft black pencil in the included assembly manual as he checked off each stage. Prior to listing. I check calibrated the Ohms ranges at 100 ohm and 2.2k- scroll through the last four photos before the manual photo and you can see it's good. I couldn't get the DC volts scale to calibrate. It appeared to read about 70% of the actual value, connected to the red and black terminals, not the center and black terminals. I don't have the time to troubleshoot or adjust further.
