VINTAGE AMERICAN EVER READY CO. EVEREADY VOLTS & AMPERES METER NEW YORK PAT 1910
Old meter with a patent date of Aug. 9. 1910. Made by American Ever Ready Co. On top of the dial is"Eveready" This meter is for volts and amperes. It looks like a piece of wire was soldered on top a long time ago. I figure the wire was longer and used for the tests. I have not tested it.The meter was in storage for many many years. I just wiped off the dirt. I did not try to polish anything. The meter is about 2" across. Interesting collectible. I am selling it as is. Payment is due within 7 days. I accept paypal only. Vintage Pocket Eveready Volts and Amp Meter
Up for sale is a vintage Eveready Pocket Volt/Amp Meter. It does have scratches and pitting and a bit of rust on the case but the glass is quite good and the movement seems to be fine. I have hooked it up to a penlight battery and it does work but I cannot say if it is accurate or not. I do not know how old it is but would guess it is more than 40 years old. Eveready Volts and Amperes tester. American Every Ready Co. New York Has wear marks. And general aging changes to the metal and paper. Likely had a glass face to it, but does not now. Casing over wire has been damaged where wire enters the voltmeter(see pictures for condition of casing and wire) No dents to the metal. Found in my old farm house. Not dated. But seems to be from early 1900's. Please contact me with any questions.
