Vintage Weston 901 Ammeter DC Laboratory Amp Meter. Milli-volts Bakelite Case, Leather Outer Case Leather case is worn and has some breaks in the straps. Fraying etc. There are stickers taped on it and a metal property tag. No way for me to test it. But the needle bounces smoothly indicating it is still in working order. These were built tough and it is my humble opinion they didn't get smoked too easily(but I am not an expert) Outer case measures approx 7 x 7 x 4 with additional for knobs and straps. I do not have any probe leads to attach to it to test it. Very cool looking piece if nostalgia. Looks to be a bakelite case although I may be wrong. Vintage Triplet 630-a VOM Meter in Bakelite Case, Need Battery, Old Volt Meter
Vintage Triplet 630-A VOM Here we have a vintage Triplet VOM. Pretty nice item back in the day. Bakelite case is undamaged but shows years of age in the way of scuffs and scratches. No cracks, chips or breaks. The item works fine but you can no longer get the 30v battery so I am moving it along. Most people work around this problem by putting 9v batteries in series and hard wiring it in. Strap is starting to separate. No manual, box or probes. Comes just as you see it. Looks like a battery leaked years ago but there is really no damage. Clean and buff, new battery and this is a nice instrument. 20k Ohms per volt DC and 5K AC.
