Very nice Weston Model 1 DC amperes meter. Scale reads 0- 200 or 0- 100 or 0- 50 depending on the shunt you use. I don't have the shunts so I have no way to test this device. It is in excellent cosmetic condition with only minor marks on the bakelite case. It would really shine if you gave it a polish. It comes with a fitted case that is in very good condition with some marks on the leather( and minor corrosion on the metal bits. The case is lockable& comes with one key. Antique WESTON D.C. Voltmeter Model 1, 1913 Direct Current Rare
This is a weston dc voltmeter model 1 in original wood box. This voltmeter was calibrated in 1913. The patent dates range from 11-6-1888 to 6-16-1901. I did not test this. As I do not know how to test it and did not want to break it messing with it. This is exactly how I got it. This voltmeter is very old and is a bit rough. The glass is dirty on the inside and it has a lot of wear and use. The box is splitting and missing a part. Please look at pictures closely. I combine shipping so be sure to check my other listings. In this listing I am offering one. Vintage Early 1940's Weston DC Ammeter 1 Amp- Model 1- 6 1/2 in. Excellent for Steampunk Project or Décor. Inspection& Calibration Documentation enclosed from 1947. This is unrestored- came right off the manufacturing floor into the storage room many years ago. There is a chip at the bottom of the back(1/2 inch) It will clean up immaculately. But since some people want that original look, I have not even wiped it down. Comes with nicely lined leather case. Some stitching problems at corner and strap is dried.
