The clamp portion is made of a cast metal frame and laminated steel jaws with a heavy black wrinkle finish paint. The handle is made of bakelite. The meters measure 50 Amps and 200 Amps respectively. They will measure AC as well as DC current. The meter cases are made of heavy black bakelite. The clamp has a serial number of: C-61485. The 50 Amp module: 31477C, and the 200 Amp module: C-G1485. Comes with a roughly made enclosure that measures 4 5/8" tall x 3 5/8" wide x 2 1/2" deep. Flange on meter measures 3 1/2" OD and mounting hole would need to be 2 3/4" plus for clearance. Also has 2 leads which measure 29" and have an alligator clip on each end. Checked it with a new D battery that read 8 amps which should be about right. Shipping by Priority Mail.

HP 3440A Digital Voltmeter with 3444A DC Volt-Amp-Ohm Unit, Works
The HP Hewlett Packard 3440A Digital Voltmeter was one of the top selling products sold by HP during the 1960s. It was designed to measure DC voltages from 1 millivolt to 1000 volts and to be used with plug-in units for other measurements. Used with the model 3444A DC Multi-Function unit. It provides 5 full scale range measurements of 100 millivolts to 1000 volts, 100 microamps to 1000 milliamps and 1000 ohms to 10 megohms. Included in this auction is a HP3440A with a 3444A plug-in unit with power cord. I tried out the unit and everything I tried worked. I measured a variety of resistors from 15 ohms to 10 Megohms which exercised all 5 ranges of the unit and got results within the tolerance of the resistors. I made some voltage. Resistance and current measurements on the 10 volt/100K/10ma range which were compared to same measurements on ... morea newer digital voltmeter with comparable results(see pictures, the newer meter is not included) The inside seems quite clean and other than a few scratches, scraps and scuffs, the outside cabinet is in good condition for being probably 40 years old. There is some writing on the bottom which is probably from when the item was sold in a surplus sale. It looks like it was last calibrated in 1972. I did no testing at all of the remote control or the recording option. The unit with its handles and mounting brackets measures approximately 19" wide, 13" deep and 5-1/4" high.

This is a vintage GE made in the USA analog amp meter. From the design. I'd guess it was made in the late 60's/early 70's. Marked X4 442 on the back side. I tested the functionality by briefly connecting a 9v battery to the meter. The needle responded normally. Mild to moderate cosmetic wear. Scuffs to the faceplate. Calibration screw has wear. There is a bit of debris inside the unit that makes noise when you shake it. Probably a bit of dirt, shouldn't affect the functionality, but I thought I should mention it. This is a vintage RCA analog multi-purpose meter. It includes the bottom part of the original box. As well as the mount nuts. I tested the functionality by briefly connecting a 9 v battery to the meter. The needle responded normally. The previous owner wrote 260 ohm 400 uA on the back side. Mild to moderate cosmetic wear. 1950s Antique T & H Analyzer Multimeter Voltmeter Amp Meter DC
This is a used analog multimeter with readings for amps and dc volts. It was made by T& H Manufacturing. Only references for a date I can find are patent numbers. The most recent is 1944, so my guess is late 40s early 50s. It has a dial to adjust resistance. There is some wear around the edges and the name plate is missing a nail on one end and has been bent.
