Vintage GENERAL ELECTRIC AC-VOLT METER type A9. I do not know if this meter is in proper working condition. Needle does move back and forth. Clear face plate is plastic and in good condition no chips, cracks or knicks. Needs a quick wipe down dusty. Case is a heavy plastic not sure if it is bakelite, it does have light shelf wear that includes a few scuffs, scrapes and spots. Four bottom rubber feet are dry and cracking.Original leather strap is also dry and split would need to be replaced. Cover opens freely and closes tightly, hinge is in great condition. Vintage / Antique Sensitive Research Single Phase Low Power Factor Wattmeter
This device is in good physical condition except one of the hinge screws is non-original and the wood veneer chipped off around the other hinge but was glued back. It came from the laboratory of a factory and hasn't been used in years. I have no way to tell you if it is working or not. But I have no reason to beleive it isn't. You are bidding on a Vintage Antique Perfect Brand Voltmeter. At least that's what I think it is.I don't know much about this stuff as I am just a general Ebayer. This is a unique. Older item, you can tell that much just by looking. I picked this up recently at an estate auction. I don't know if it works or not, but the needle isn't frozen as it bounces around easily. Antique Vintage Milliampere Meter Wooden
Up for auction is an antique wooden milliampere meter. It's difficult to establish the age of this item but I'm assuming that it's rather old. Likely early 1900s. I was unable to identify any brand markings on this meter making it a unique piece. The leather handle is still intact although it is dry. There is some wear on this item as seen in the pictures. It is an Electric Ammeter by Weston Electrical Instrumentation Corp. of Newark. NJ, U.S.A The face of the meter is 3 1/2" in diameter. The back plate is 4 5/8" in diameter. It is 2" deep. The posts on the back stick out an additional 3" making the total depth 5" It weighs about 1 pound. See dial photo it reads: 0 to 250 Amperes AC CT Ratio 80:1. Amperes for scale = 5.4 amps Model 429 NO. 10128 The screwdriver slot in the center is for zero correction. Overall. It is in very good used condition. It has nicks and scratches but presents nicely. The only info I could find is that this was patented in 1929/1933. The housing is solid copper and the whole unit weighs approx. 15 lb. This is a huge gauge. I have never seen another like this one. Brackets for wall mounting and connectors to hook up to electric.

Here is a real old vintage meter. It was made by Weston Electric in Newark NJ. USA. The pat. date is Nov.8 1888. For as old as it is it is in fairly good shape. I don't know if you would call the face brass or not. It is a heavy metal like brass but has more of a chrome color to it with may be a little brass in it.One of the little rubber feet is missing for when you set it up the one way. This would make a good display piece.It is not very often you find them as old as this.The meter goes to 140 volt. It can read positive or negative. I put 14 volts to it and the needle did move. The I reversed the polarity and the needle moved the other way. I believe it is in working order.I think the case is oak. it all most looks like Tiger Oak. Feel free to email questions or comments.
