Shown is a nice old' ANTIQUE VOLT/ AMP DOUBLE METER' Brass housing with an aluminum back plate. 7" x 3 3/4" x 2 3/4 inches. Maker marked to the' Roller Smith Co. Bethlehem. Pa USA' I have no way of telling if this is in working order- could still work perfectly. But selling as a display item. Both needle move when the meter is moved. There is an internal light bulb- see photo. Paper label on the back has what appears to be a date of 89' or 09' which looks to be about the right time period. Nice looking instrument. Triplett 310 with Amp Meter attachment
You are bidding on a Triplett model 310 type 5 hand held VOM. This meter also comes with a clamp-on Ammeter attachment model 10-c type 3. It also has a leather carrying case. 2 leads( the red one has a small crack on the insulation near the tip) and complete instruction manuals. The meter takes a Buss type glass fuse which need to be replaced. The 1.5 v and 15 v batteries are included but should be renewed. The meter will check AC/DC voltage up to 1200 volts and also resistance and mili-amps. The clamp style ammeter adapter will check amperage up to 300 amperes.

I present here two beautiful WORKING meters removed from a high voltage laboratory power supply from times past. The Volt meter has scales from 0-1.0. 0-10, 0-20 and 0-50 volts dc. The amp meter has scales from-3, 0, +10, 15, 0, +50, 30, 0, +100, 150, 0, +500 Amps DC. The amp meter zero's up from the bottom of the scale at the zero point. Both meters can be scaled with resistor voltage dividers to any one of these or any other desirable measurement scale as long as the actual movement does not exceed the 1.0 ma. full scale rating of the meters as is common to most meters of this vintage. I am offering them together because they both came from the same power supply and should maybe be used together for a nice presentation on the front of a piece of equipment. The actual meter face measurement is 4-1/2 inches diameter and the hole size ... moreis 3-5/8 inches diameter. The +/ connections are labeled on the back and are the UPPER connectors not the lower ones. The meters are factory sealed. These are really nice high visibility meter faces and scales. This is a vintage General Electric clamp-on a m meter and voltmeter with a rotating scale in working used condition. It comes with its original leather case in somewhat rough shape but serviceable. The leads have been soldered to the base of the meter- don't know if this was original or a modification. But have just tested them and they do function. This is a heavy duty piece of equipment. Comes with a roughly made enclosure that measures 4 5/8" tall x 3 5/8" wide x 2 1/2" deep. Flange on meter measures 3 1/2" OD and mounting hole would need to be 2 3/4" plus for clearance.
