Stuff I bought cause it looks cool and is of no use to me at all. this is a pretty old multimeter. It has various coils that can be attached to give various ranges of amp measurements stored under the lid on the left, and the scale for amps is on a hexagonal prism that can be rotated to pick the appropriate scale. It has come from an estate of similar era meters and test equipment(see our other eBay items) The AC/DC Volt- VOLTS-METER has a dual wattage range of 0-1000 and 0-5000 AC/DC watts and a dual voltage range of 0-130 and 0-260 AC/DC volts. It features two switches one for watts and one for volts to change the scales. This meter has the owner’s name scratched into one side and otherwise it is in exceptional condition. This meter comes in its original fitted box which has a tear and a worn corner on the front top edge. The rubber leads attached to the meter are in excellent condition and the clasp and handle on the box are in very good condition. This is a vintage General Electric clamp-on a m meter and voltmeter with a rotating scale in working used condition. It comes with its original leather case in somewhat rough shape but serviceable. The leads have been soldered to the base of the meter- don't know if this was original or a modification. But have just tested them and they do function. This is a heavy duty piece of equipment. Up for bid is an analog. Mirrored scale, precision voltmeter made by Yokogawa Electric Works, Ltd. in Singapore. The Type 2017 meter is intended for measuring audio frequency voltages up to 300 volts at frequencies from 45 Hz to 10 KHz. Accuracy said to be ¼ of 1% of Full Scale. Resistance at each range is 1098.4, 2196.8, 4393.6 at 25 Deg. C. 75 V terminal knob was replaced. Crack in Bakelite at upper right of panel at +/ terminal has no effect on the instrument. Some scratches on the box. Leather on handle is strong but outer layers flaking. Wt is 11 lbs 6 oz.

These are all Weston meters by"WESTON ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT CORP. NEWARK N.J. U.S.A. The black bakelite cases have RCA on them from whatever larger unit they were a part of. The meters are OHMS PER VOLT. MILLIAMPERES D.C. AMPERES D.C. VOLTS A.C. They appear in very good shape. We haven't tested them. Being sold As Is. The particle board they are on will not be shipped, only the meters.
