For your consideration. Two running Maytag gasoline stationary engines I cleaned out the sludge from the gas tanks and cleaned a good share of the gunk off the outside of the motors as well. Both start after a few kicks. 1: Green Maytag- SN 561273- runs nice- starts easy#2: Natural Maytag- SN 491252- takes a few kicks to start- runs nice- I will change the skids to 2x4's for shipping- i just had the 6x6 scraps laying around to use for working on this. The engine has great compression and it takes a very hard pull to get it started. It has a flat belt drive or a drive for a V belt. I have no idea who made it but i'm sure someone out there does. I found this item in a New England estate and it looks like it might have been an old science project made by a student many many years ago to show how an engine operates. Very old and unique! Included is the item pictured: Antique cutaway engine display. On the back off the board are two wooden wheels that you would turn to operate the parts on the front such as the valve& piston. On the top is an old spark plug that has: Cross Country on it as seen. The display board measures: 16 3/4 inches tall. 9 3/4 inches wide. It has the expected wear from age as seen with the very bottom of the wooden connecting rod broken off& has a crack in the center of the back board as pictured- It could easily be repaired. ANTIQUE 1934 MAYTAG RESTORED 92 GAS ENGINE HIT MISS WRINGER WASHER STATIONARY
Up for bid is a very nice Maytag Model 92 11- 111 Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 557534 stamped on it which was in production in May. 1934. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also used to restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and sand blasted and bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont Maytag original color code. I take a lot of pride in these motors and I like to do a little extra detailing like the lettering and some of the numbers as you can see in the pictures, I think it makes the motor's stand out better. The flywheel has very little pitting as you can see in the picture but will not affect the performance of the engine. Lots of people like to take the same pictures as I do and try ... moreto confuse the buyer. I don't like the way they do things but I have no control of that. But I put my own trade mark on my engines then I know it is on that I restored proper. You can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley or air cleaner or kill switch. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug wire with new ends, new spark plug, caution plate and kill switch. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. Magnet ring was recharged as well and throws a real nice hot spark. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. After putting it all back together I ran 1 tank of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. I cannot put a warranty on these motors do to the age of them BUT I will guarantee it will run great for you when you get it and keep running well. I have sold a lot of motors and washers and never had a complaint yet. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. I have the ignitor that has a very good repair. the base has a crack in the back(pic 6) only thing that seems to be missing is the pushrod and magneto even if not pictured I have them. otherwise all gears.Piston,rod,bearings all seem to be in good shape. Nice strong homemade magneto magnet charger. Will charge any magnet with north and south poles. May have to make adapter blocks for diffrent magnets. Coils are pretty thick. For sale is a nice 1 ¾ HP Galloway Hit and Miss open crank antique stationary gas engine. Engine is in good running condition and starts easy! Motor is in nice original condition but does have normal wear for a 100 year old antique. Cam gear bracket has been repaired and looks to be a professional quality job and was done years ago. Repair does not affect running condition of engine. Gears look good and bearings and valves are tight. Engine has great compression and magneto is hot. Motor will start easy on Webster brass body magneto. A hard to find true early American hit and miss gas engine in good working condition. VINTAGE / ANTIQUE MAYTAG MODEL 72 HIT & MISS STATIONARY ENGINE
For bid is a Maytag model 72 hit& miss engine. This engine is complete and in running condition. I worked on it last fall and got it running. Today. I put some gasoline in the tank and it started up with no problem. It runs very smooth. It was running when I took the close up pictures of the flywheel. I could not slow the shutter speed on my camera enough to show it running. There is a weld(braze) on the starter kick pedal as can be seen in a couple of the pictures. The repair was done very well, but nevertheless, it was repaired. This is an underslung type mount. There is a wrench included which is also shown in the pictures. This engine is used and is being sold as/is. Anyone in the 43402 area is welcome to contact me and inspect this engine.

Lauson Antique Gas Stationary Engine - Motor
This 1939. Lauson Built, cast iron motor was sold as a Montgomery/Ward product. The Lauson name is cast into the crankcase, but MW put their name on the ID tag. It starts with one pull and runs very well. No smoke, no misfires. It runs just like it should. I completely restored it and painted it while disassembled. The round gas tank has some small dents that I was unable to remove due to lack of internal access. Mounted on a solid oak board. Great show engine if you belong to a club. Taylor Vacuum Hit and Miss Engine.This is an earlier model. There is a Taylor registry and there are right at 100 engines listed,90 of them have a serial number higher than this one(4 digit see photos) I can find no cracks,breaks or repairs except the rocker shows a braze that is very old and is solid. The cylinder seems good with most of the compression going out the exhaust valve.Nothing is stuck but the valves will need attention.The carburetor is there and so is the needle valve.Looks like all the trip parts for the missing Wico are there. Please ask questions and feel free to call. I can put it on a pallet or take it to Fastenal. I can store it for a month or two and in June I'm driving to Denver by way of Salt Lake City and Reno if that helps anyone. The big S pulley is 30" in diameter and 4" wide. It has been repaired with a blacksmith repair. The other 4 pulleys are 4.5" wide and 22" wide. It has 4 pillar blocks. This is an old LAUSON engine cart in very good condition. I can find no cracks. Breaks or welds. Just add your own rails and your in business. This cart has the 1 ½“ solid steel axles that are 32“ wide so it should handle a sizable engine. The rear wheels are 17 ½“ dia. X 2 ½“ wide and the fronts are 13 ½“ dia. X 2 ½“ wide. I am not sure if the handle is original or not but it is an original formed steel handle in very good condition and works well. This is a very nice set of engine trucks. Up for sale today is my Twin Cylinder Lawn Mower Engine. These are extremely rare, almost never come up for sale, has the original exhaust still, has the very rare rope start pulley, very very neat engine, obviously isn't all there as its missing the mower deck, it has really good compression but the coil is bad so that will have to be replaced, I had the serial number matched on smokestack.com by a guy that knows a lot about these, he said it either came off of a Rotacut or a Velva-Cut Mower, very clean engine, has a very small spot of pitting on the flywheel as you can see in the pictures, good luck bidding, any questions just ask, thanks

Here we have an old IHC M 1-1/2 hp engine. Very nice original paint and skid. I have not run the engine but it turns over and has spark. In my opinion the compression is a little weak. The fuel pump is cracked. The hand crank is missing the handle and was welded. Selling as is.
