Fairbanks Morse Model A generator
Fairbanks Morse Z style D engine with 32 volt generator. Engine runs fine. Have not checked generator output, however the generator will act as a motor, starting the engine using a 12 volt battery connected to the battery terminals, so I believe the generator will work properly. Not original condensing radiator(will remove and package for shipment) Not many of these around! Originally used to charge 32 volt batteries when the wind didn't blow to drive the windcharger. Have a copy of manual and a copy of ZD engine operating manual to go with it! You can have the truck also, but it doesn't work well-too small wheels for this heavy engine. Not worth the cost of shipping! I will bolt to pallet and deliver to Fastenal store in Colby, Ks if buyer will arrange shipping with them, or will hold for up to 3 months after payment for pick up ... morewithout charge. I might be able to find it a ride to Portland show in August if buyer will pay for that.

Rare 1/2 Scale Fairbanks Morse 1A Eclipse Hit Miss Steam Gas Engine Model Oiler
Wow! What a great find. Just picked this up at a local flea market in a box and in pieces. A 1/2 scale Fairbanks Morse 1A Model Engine. It appears to have some work done but needs to be completed! It has a piston and rod and seems to have good compression. The valves are nicely done and cam is good. The flywheels are round and true. They measure 7" diameter. Total engine height is 12" There are no cracks or breaks to be found. The pictures tell the story. I have done some research on these and couldn't find a lot of information. These were made about 25 to 30 or so years ago and not many were casted. This would be a great project for a collector. I will ship to anywhere worldwide. If shipped outside the United States. The engine will be dis-assembled to fit in a flat rate box and will be packaged well.

One of the many model antique gas engines my late father.Eddie Mittelstadt,built in retirement.He sold many world wide and enjoyed displaying at the many shows though out America. This was built in 1985 for me and i displayed it at vista ca.San jose and here in iowa.Goodguys car event in Pleasanton Ca.I also came home on my vacations and went to many shows with him,mable minn,wannamingo on the 4th and many in iowa.Its in good shape.I hope to sell to a person who enjoys this hobby and will show and take care of it.I is about 50 pounds so hope to have it picked up or maybe i could deliver. Fairbanks Morse Model 208 Antique Hit & Miss Gas Engine! Turns Over W/ Flywheels
This Is A Very Nice Old One Cylinder Engine That Was Recently Taken Out Of Service In The Oilfield& Replaced With An Electric Motor! It is a Fairbanks Morse Model Number 208& it still has good compression when the flywheels are turned over by hand. It is missing the magneto and carburetor but another carburetor is included as pictured. This engine could very possibly be in good running order. However, I have no way to guarantee that. What you see is what you are getting! We will not ship this engine so it will need to be picked up here at our yard. Fairbanks Morse Model Z Mixer 1-1/2 hp 2 hp Gas Engine Steam Tractor
This mixer is for a Fairbanks Morse Model Z 1-1/2 hp and 2 hp gas engine. The needle valve turns and I took it out and it looks good. The air intake plate pushes in and springs back when pushed on with the finger. There are traces of dark green paint. The only small problem is one of the mounting bolts are broken off pretty much even with the flange. It will have to be drilled and retapped. The angel mounting bolt holes are 1-7/8" on center. There are no breaks or welds other than the broken off bolt. The inside needs cleaning but it's not bad. The whole cast iron mixer could use some cleaning. WE ACCEPT ALL FORMS OF PAYMENT. The pot metal is in very good condition. No age cracking or deterioration. Not all beat up. Fits on a 1 1/8 diameter shaft. The pulley is 3 1/4 inches in diameter and 3 1/2 inches wide. Fairbanks Morse Hit & Miss Gas Engine Magneto Model R Fits Z D Dishpan & Others
Nice original Fairbanks Morse type R magneto in very good condition. Includes a magneto gear and breather plate for a Fairbanks Morse Model Z Style D. The magneto has very good blue spark just turning it by hand. The body is in excellent shape with no cracks or repairs. The point cover has some wear to it. Not sure what happened there. Also the gear has been repaired in two places. It looks like a good repair and may have run this way. The pot metal is very nice with no aging cracks. Both mounting ears are good. The bushings are good with very little play. The teeth on the gear are excellent. This magneto was also used on the Dishpan style engine as well as many other Fairbanks Z engines. Fairbanks & Morse Model Z 1-1/2 HP Engine - THIS ONE IS VERY NICE!
Fairbanks& Morse Model Z. 1-1/2 HP Gasoline Engine This is a really nice old engine as the pictures will show. I have not run it. When cranking. The flywheels and piston move just fine. There is definitely good compression. Here is what I know about the engine and what I don't: It belonged to my father-in-law and it has been in his garage for the last several decades. I know he got it from a relative in Kentucky. I believe he built the rolling platform it sits on. Or he at least refurbished the platform it was on when he got it. I have a material list and notes he made about the platform construction. I never saw him run this and I don't know if everything is present to make it run. But I have no doubt it could be made to run by someone who knows these engines and would run just fine. This engine doesn't appear to be one that ... moresat outside much. There is very slight rust inside the hopper. But the exterior looks good. It is not crusty. It is very, very clean. The oiler and crank are there. There is a gas tank built into the rolling platform. According to the notes I found, it holds 1.88 gallons. The name plate shows patents granted in 1916, so it was manufactured that year or soon after. There is a crack in one of the flywheels. Which you can see in the pictures. However, a bolt has been fashioned into the wheel which repairs the crack(See pictures) I think that is what I am seeing, but I'm not positive. As I said. I haven't run this engine and I don't know if the engine has everything it needs to run. It may have missing parts. I just don't know. But I am confident it could be made to run. I have not seen another one like it(model or horsepower) on Ebay, current or completed listings. I think it is uncommon to find one like this for sale, but that is only an opinion. It can be safely stored where it is UP TO 6 MONTHS if need be at no additional charge but it will need to be paid for within 7 days of auction's end!
