EARLY 1938 ORIGINAL MAYTAG EISEMANN MODEL 72-D TWIN CYLINDER ENGINE ~ NICE! Fresh estate find. Looks to be nearly all original(the spark plugs may be replacements) and appears to have good compression! Serial number stamped at an angle on flywheel end is 840829. Placing it in the first couple production months of 1938. This engine has not been altered in any way, it is as found and as shown. I do not see any cracks or breaks. It appears solid and sound. I don't know anything about these types of engines so please refer to the pictures and make your own judgment. I did notice the spark plug and a muffler or something are missing. Antique Vintage Briggs & Stratton WM WMB air cooled kick start engine Nice!
This auction is for a Briggs& Stratton Model: WM Type: 95476 Serial: 184710. This engine is in pretty condition and the owner told me it had been sitting a couple years since he rebuilt it. If I am remembering right it had the valves lapped in. Cylinder honed, new piston& rings along with new connecting rod and all new gaskets. Also the base it is on has a hole bored through it so the engine oil can be drained without removing it from the base. The only things I could find to note is that one fin is broken off the flywheel, and there is some varnish in the fuel tank from it sitting the last few years. Would make a good project for somebody! WWII RARE KICK START BRIGGS & STRATTON MODEL N MOTOR GAS HIT MISS ENGINE BRASS
Up for bid is an old running briggs and stratton model n with the rare kick start& rope backup pulley. Don't know much about these but I was able to look up it's serial number of 80850 to find that it was manufactured between S eptember and October of 1942. This is also supposedly a WWII military era/issued because of several things including.kick start option. Brass id tag with screws not rivets and the od green paint. I was able to put gas in it and she fired right up.idle was adjusted lower after this video as well. Please see video of engine running below. Motor does have dents, scratches, grease, rust, issues, etc. and is not perfect. Would make a good restoration project for someone or enjoy as is. Would make a fantastic addition to any collection. There is no tag on this engine so I don't know what model it is. I got this at a old farm auction a couple of years ago it had 2 broken fins on flywheel when I got it but it did fire up when I put a little gas in the cylinder. Johnson Iron Horse Cast Iron Kick Start Washing Machine Horizontal Shaft Engine
Johnson 4 cycle iron horse engine model x-405. This engine was restored about 20 years ago and was set up to take to shows it powered a small air compressor that powered a old train whistle that was used in antique tractor and small engine shows and it has also been thru several parades. It has been stored inside a climate controlled building for the last 20 years I pulled the spark plug and turned it over to see if it was still getting spark and it was nice and blue im sure with some gas and a new plug it wouldn't have any trouble firing right up. This engine had all the gas completely drained and has no bad gas smell at all. Its very clean I have not put any gas in the tank at all being that it would need to be drained before it is shipped but I have no doubt this would make someone a good engine for anything they would need it for ... moresee my other listings for the compressor and brass whistle set up I have for sale this engine worked great for that set up and gets lots of attention.

Not sure what its supposed to have for its fuel tank. This is the very first production year of this model/type. It's date of manufacture is May of 1939. The 4 Cycle Iron Horse was built between 1935 and 1952. It had many applications. Including powering wash machines. I picked this one up in British Columbia about a decade ago. I have done some cleaning up on it. I have never filled the tank with gas to let it run. But I have put a little in the intake and it runs nicely until the fuel is gone. This is a Model X501. Serial Number is 43537. Everything is there including a pulley to power something. The kicker works fine. Yes. It's old and has a few dings that I wish it didn't have but take a look and decide what this old engine is worth. Due to most Clinton engines needed the extra or longer whirl to get them started. Here is a rare B&S model FH carrying the orig brass tag.The engine is stuck from sitting.And has lots of rust with few parts missing.The shroud has orig tag FH ser#64323.i dont know what year it was made.This was on my great grandparents washing machine.Its a kick start.The kick start does move, but the engine doesnt.There is a repairable dent on the shroud also.These are getting harder to find in this restorable condition.Most you see have been all painted up and owned by a dozen different people these days.This is truly a 1 owner engine from the North Bangor PA slate belt region.SEE MY OTHER ITEMS LISTED! Up for bid I have an antique Johnson Iron Horse 4 cycle engine. Most likely off an old washing machine. This is model X-515. Has a tag that states it was rebuilt in 9-9-53 by Carson Machine and Supply Co Oklahoma City. Oklahoma. Looks to be all original and complete except for the kick start. That has a nail in place of a cotter pin holding the kick lever in place. The gear on the crank shaft just spins also. I started the motor with a pull rope. As the kick starter is not in working condition. Original choke. Carb, air cleaner, governor, and muffler all intact. See photos. Started and ran for a few seconds with a little gas poured in the carb. Weighs about 44lbs. Shipping weight will be slightly higher with packaging. Will ship UPS. Feel free to ask questions.

I have no idea if it is a briggs of if made by someone else there is no tag on it. listing it as for parts or repair as for the piston doesn't seem to move the gas tank is missing and one of the tank straps is missing also other than that it looks like it is all there the crank still moves about a half inch
