They are a very hot and very rare mag. I've only seem them on a few Fairbanks Morse N& Fuller& Johnson People's Priced& Early model N Engines. Ser# of 1746 It is In Good Original Condition. The Armature Feels Tight& looks to be In Real Good Condition.I am Sure it would Produce Charge. Shop Tag Reads"WKS OK" But I have Not Tested Or messed with this. 7hp Fuller&Johnson gas engine
Selling this very original 7hp fuller&johnson model KA throttle governed engine. The 2 things wrong are the gas tank need replaced. The original will be good for a pattern, and the gov. dashpot is broken(pictured) It does not effect the running of the engine. I run it on the start side of the mixer which will run it 20 minutes. Lots of work done including a new brass rod bearing(the original bearing is included) and new valves. Very good compression. The faces of the flywheels are 4" wide and are straight. Also has the rare rod guard and a nice pulley and is on the original skids. Nice big engine and is sold as is, the dolly pictured is not for sale. Due to the size, I will not ship it but I have a cherry picker that will lift it and can assist loading it on a low trailer. Small Elkhart Magneto Mag Sparta Economy gas engine Hit & Miss Fuller & Johnson
This is the small 2 bolt Magneto for the 1 Hp and 1 1/2 Hp Sparta Economy Gas engines.These magneto's are extremely hard to find! This Magneto mount's near the back of the engine between the flywheel and block near the crankshaft. I believe this magneto will also fit smaller fuller and Johnson Gasoline engines as well, I have seen these magneto's bring over $500,I have not tested this magneto also the magnet's do have some pitting rust,please ask questions,Stationary Generator Webster Sumter, On Dec-20-13 at 09:49:02 PST. Antique Fuller & Johnson hit-and-miss engine, running condition.
You are bidding on an antique Fuller& Johnson hit-and-miss engine. It's lost its nameplate with the serial number so I don't know manufacturing date or model but it looks like 1-1/2 hp Model"N" Except it has a WICO magneto. Not an ignitor. Probably 1920's vintage. An eight-page reproduction Fuller& Johnson manual from 1923(included with this auction) appears to describe this engine. Lost its paint also and looks like used a lot, to drive a cement mixer perhaps. I replaced spark plug that looked a little rounded. The WICO magneto doesn't have really big spark, but enough to run it. The bar magnets probably need to be re-magnetized, I don't know. I measured the capacitance of capacitor inside the WICO and it appears to be within correct range. I rigged up a spark coil ignition which has a much better spark, ... moreto try to get a better idea of how the engine is supposed to run. Restoring this engine looked like too much work for me. So I'm selling it. Out of curiosity, I measured the pressure profile during compression and firing. To do this I drilled and tapped a#10-32 UNF hole(threads half-way) through the cylinder head and used a Clippard fitting to connect to 1/8 inch copper tubing. Peak of 200 psi running no load, when choked about 225 psi peak pressure. Flywheel maxed at 333 rpm when kicked by power stroke(no load) Under load I presume it would fire on every four-stroke cycle, instead of coasting(holding exhaust valve open) three or so cycles. Rough measurement of 5 inch stroke, 1.19 inch distance to flat head at top of stroke, for about 5.2 compression ratio. Cylinder diameter 3-1/2 inches. That measurement hole is now plugged from inside with light press fit steel plug, and brass machine screw on outside(see photo) I created flat spots on the outside of the casting for good seal with the Clippard fitting. Sorry, kind of messy, I miss-located first flat. Also I rigged up a rubber friction drive wheel powered by a 1/3 hp ac motor to save my arms. Much easier to start. Just

This is a nice Fuller& Johnson engine. Manufactured in Madison. Wisconsin. It is a 1 1/2 horsepower and rev per Min are 500. The serial number is 69487 and therefore was manufactured in 1919. The engine is complete with crank. It is missing a coil, but I believe with little effort this engine will run. It has been in a shed for many years. Old WONDER Cement Mixer Waterloo Fuller Johnson Hit Miss Gas Engine Sales Poster
This is a really neat original and probably pretty scarce sales poster from the Construction Machinery Corporation in Waterloo. Iowa, advertising their WONDER cement mixers and other products. It measures about 13 1/2 x 20 1/2 inches and is heavily illustrated. It has some wear and tear from being nearly a century old with wear along the creases and staining but it would still look great in a frame and hanging on your wall or displayed with your engines or equipment. I wouldn't think there's too many of these left to be found in the wild as most of them lost their battle with the wood stove back in the day. The pictures tell the story. You'll like it. Good Luck.

This is an extremely hard to find original cart for a small Fuller and Johnson hit and miss gas engine. It has the original handle on the front axle. I'm pretty sure it has the original wood board on it but may have a few extra holes in it. The wheels measure 8 inches in diameter with a 2 inch face and all have the J482 part number on them. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be put to use under an engine. This cart was used under the 1 1/2 and 2hp Model N engines from the factory and probably the Multi Motor and will work for any engine of the 1-2 1/2 hp size. This is a real nice original barn fresh 3hp Fuller Johnson gas engine. It is a true hit and miss engine. It turns over nicely and has decent compression even though it hasn't run for a few years. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs on it other than a very well done old weld repair on the exhaust rocker arm. It has the original gas tank in it and it seems pretty solid. It also has the original Fuller Johnson check valve. This engine has a great amount of original paint and decals on it and more to be found under the grease. It looks like it will need a pretty minor mechanical restoration.some ignitor springs, fuel line, and some general tightening of a few things should do it. It is also missing the fuel needle and bottom of the fuel mixer which I believe are available as reproductions. The original starting crank is with it. It has ... morea slight crack in it that should be an easy repair. Untouched engines like this surely don't turn up very often in the wild anymore so don't miss your chance on it. This is a real nice Fuller and Johnson N hit and miss gas engine model. It is a hopper cooled engine and it is also ignitor fired as can be seen. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It was built by an expert machinist and quality of the machine work is superb! It has 1 1/16 x 9 inch flywheels. I haven't run it and it hasn't been run in a few years but I'm sure with a little tinkering it would fire right up. It has good compression even after sitting for a few years. The builder showed it at several local shows after he built it and it ran great. It is 100% complete and sits on a pair of nice hardwood skids. the only real flaw that I've noted is that some of the paint has come off of the governor side flywhee. Hit Miss Engine Gas Tank Fuller Johnson FPE
Not 100% sure this goes with a Fuller Johnson FPE. This was a spare with the engine when I purchased. It only had two bolts to hook up to mixer, the one hooked up had four. Measure out to 8.5" in diameter. 4" tall. The bolts are 2-3/4" center to center. The large hole for the pick tube is 1" from the edge of tank. The drain cock looks like an add on for sure, the solder is not pretty but right and tight, no leaks, I check to play it safe. No rust to speak off. Please ask away any all questions you might have.

You are bidding on a very nice cylinder head. With valves and springs for a 1 1/2hp Fuller& Johnson N engine. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs. Valves are free and are nice and tight in the guides, this is a very unworn head! Valves have original springs and keepers on them. It could use a very minor cleaning, but otherwise, it's ready to bolt on your engine as soon as you get it. No issues with this one! Great muffler pipe threads and spark plug threads.
