This is an Original Starting Crank Handle for the Waterloo Hit& Miss Gas Engines. This Has A 1 7/8" hole. For A 1 3/4" Crank Shaft. This will Fit The 4& 5 Hp Engines. Overall length Is 10 Inches. Waterloo Gas Engines. DesJardens, T-Eaton Or Imperial Engines used these Type Of Handles& More Than Likely other Waterloo Contract Engines They made. Antique Ottawa Log Saw Drag Saw Tree 5-hp Gas Hit and Miss Engine Ottawa Kansas
You are bidding on an antique Ottawa Drag Saw Hit and Miss Engine. Made by the Ottawa Mfg Company. Ottawa Kansas. I found it at a NH estate sale tucked away in the back of a barn. The brass plate on the hopper reads"The Ottawa No: TE 27676, HP: 5, Speed: 550 RPM" Engine turns over nice and smooth. Has good compression. Still has the antique spark plug. All of the levers and controls work. Nothing is seized. Gas tank is n good shape. Hopper has no cracks or repairs that I can see. The machine is mounted on a moving dolly. It was probably mounted on this since new. There also is an electric box on one side of the engine. Plaque reads Wico Type EK. The oiler on the top of the engine still has oil in it. It is heavy but it moved nicely on the cart. The oiler is marked"The D.T. Williams Valve Company No, 1" Comes with a large ... morebuzz saw attachment. It mounts right to the engine. The two fly wheels on either side measure 18" and 15" Approximate engine measurements, not including the cart are 24" wide. 34" deep. 24" tall. Approximate measurements with the cart are 93" long. 33: wide. The saw attachment id also in good condition and the blade measures 24" in diameter. Nice old antique hit and miss engine. Nice to find in the original unrestored condition. I would prefer local pick up or buyer can arrange their shipper to pick it up, you can try Uship. International IHC LA or LB 3-5 HP Water Hopper Extension Hit Miss
Very difficult to find International 3-5 HP Water Hopper Extension. Will fit LA or LB. Has a few holes from leaves and muck sitting in the water hopper and the upper cast vent cap has a piece broken out as shown. The hopper is easily repairable by a good auto body shop by cutting out the rust holes and welding in new metal. The cast vent cap is also repairable with some effort to fabricate the missing piece and some brazing in of the new piece. The engine in the picture is NOT for sale nor is the hay baler. I just showed them so you would see it installed on an engine. Don't let this item get away- when is the last time you saw one for sale?

Please Check your Mounting Bolt Spacing& measurements Please Contact Me if you Are not sure If it will Fit, Or Be Correct For your Engine. I will Help You Out. This is 20" long Overall. 4 3/4" Wide At the front& 6 1/2" Wide at the Back. Bolt spacing is Approx. 4 1/4" at the back. One single Mounting Hole in the front by what I think Would be A relief for the Oiler. This Has A Hairline crack that Goes About Half way Across the back As can be seen in the pictures. But This Seems real Solid, Once it was on the engine it would hardly be noticeable, OR IT Could be Fixed Pretty Easily. Also has A funny Kind of silver or white paint, Or ... moreOil Residue On the Bottom Side, That Washes Off with solvent But I didn't want to get carried Away cleaning It Up Has Lots Of original Paint I think It would Be fine Just like it is. Two nice old hit and miss engines. One mfg. by Sattley for Montgomery Wards(s/n 55447) and the other is mfg. by Jaeger Machine Company(s/n 45540) I believe they are around 1920's. Only one magneto is available(WICO EK382735) The engines both turn and have brass oilers and there is no evidence of cracks or welding of any kind. Their may be some parts missing, but the engines are in need of restoration.
