Old Original Sparta Economy Hercules Jobber Hit Miss Engine Cart Truck Steam
This is a real nice original jobber style engine cart or truck for a hit and miss gas engine. I believe it was used under the 1hp Sparta Economy and several others. It would look great under any 1-2hp engine and would certainly make moving it easier. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and includes the original pull handle. The wheels measure 8 1/2 inches in diameter with a 2 inch face. The wheels are nice and tight on the axles and the cart is ready to set an engine on and use it. These small carts are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one don't miss this one. The pictures tell the story. Economy or Hercules engine, hit miss or throttle governed
This engine is in great shape. I got it from my father-in-law. He had the head rebuilt and no one has tried to start it since. I believe that the magneto sparks. I think it will run without much effort but cannot quarentee it. The gas tank is up under the engine, it has a nice oiler and magneto. Please look at the pictures. I do not know much about these but I will answer any questions that i'm able to. For pickup only, I can store it until spring if it is paid for.

Bearings look to have little wear and have nice grease groves in them yet. No welds or repairs. I have seen alot of these caps welded from being over tightened with not enough shims. Original Hercules Economy Hit Miss Gas Engine Steel Wheeled Cart Steam Tractor
This is a rather hard to find original cart for a 1 or 1 1/2 Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas engine. It is in pretty good condition for it's age. It has the original handle. The wheels measure 6 and 6 1/2 inches with a 1 3/4 inch face. The overall width and length of the rails is 9 1/4 x 27 5/8 inches. One of the front wheels has a repair that works alright but isn't the prettiest. It might be a good idea to take the other one which is perfect and have another one cast from it. One rear wheel has a cracked spoke by the hub and the other has two. Both of these would be easy repairs but they work just fine the way they are. This cart originally had a 1 or 1 1/2hp Economy or Hercules engine on it but would work for any engine of the 1-2hp size. This style cart is pretty hard to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't ... moremiss your chance on it. It would certainly make moving your engine around easier! I have a very nice economy engine I just picked up.1 1/2 hp#38365 I was going to keep but I've found a larger engine I want to buy, here's what I can tell you, it turns over with decent compression. It does have the Tri polar mag, no spark at this time, might just need to clean contacts, weld on arm that all I can see. This is a nice little engine. As you can see it must be a good runner with all orig grime still on it. It does have grease fitting on it and not cups. Will post engine tag specs soon thanks paypal or cash/mo starting price with no reserve and have another engine listed
