we finally found another one of these old maytags up here been awhile but always a pleasure. looks to be a model 92 as tag was gone. have listed the flywheel number of course. turned over very nice with good compression and coil checks good as well. we saved all hardware for each part as well for a easy restoration. nice tank base no cracks or welds

This offering is for(1) reconditioned ASS#3259 Air Filter Assembly for the Maytag Multi Motor Single Cylinder Kick Start Engines. Wether its called a 92 or 31 or 32 or 19 11.111 or others it takes this air filter. Unless the engine is of the early production before 394000 The early one took a brass ring and screen filter. But after that number they took this cannister. There is a minor variation of this filter with out the set screw. We have them too. The reconditioned filter assemblies have all been carb cleaner dipped and soaked. Rinsed out and soaked again to ensure as much old crud is cleaned out as possible. Then prepped and painted. Maytag 31 11 19 72 82 92 Restored Hit Miss Engine Antique Vintage BEAUTIFUL!
I am letting a couple engines go to fund another. This is a restored Maytag model 31. Work done includes: new rings, new copper coated gaskets, new kick pedal spring, 2 new brass plugs in the tank, hand made brass inspection cover and spark shut-off lever thing. completely rebuilt mixer and fuel pick-up tube, new connecting rod, new condenser, new spark plug wire and a NOS Champion spark plug, and of course new paint and decals. Some of the polished surfaces have tarnished, or light rust has formed. I restored the engine two years ago, ran it for 5 minutes, then just took it to shows as an eye catcher. It is sitting on a VERY sturdy skid which is unstained. It is a herder to find model 31 short base. It has the optional and RARE small pulley on it. Shipping is free as long as the engine reaches its reserve. Reserve is set at $500 to cover ... moreshipping and materials but that doesn't even start to cover my man hours in this engine! expense
