It Has A couple slight dings on the face of the pulley& A small dent on the rim As shown in the pictures. The pulley can be mounted with either side, so this could be installed so it can't be seen! The flywheels on this engine measure 24" in diameter. It appears that it went through a fire many years ago that melted out the babbit main bearings. The crankshaft appears to be bent a bit because the flywheels are about 2 inches closer together at the top than they are at the bottom. Restoring this engine will be a big task but it can be done. I figure it will be most useful for a parts engine. The flywheels. Base, cylinder, connecting rod cover, magneto mounting base and magneto drive gears appear to be useable. This is one of the 19 engines I have purchased. The others will also be listed on eBay soon. This engine turns over very easily so not much compression. I watched some Youtube videos which showed other Little Jumbos turning over easily so maybe they were always that way. Its a small Hit n Miss engine with the cylinder/water jacket(marked T-4) bolted to crankcase(marked T-3) A Webster magneto, 16" flywheels marked(T-2) 3-1/2" piston. and flyweight governed. I could find no manufacturer's name. There is a chip in the piston skirt. I found a braised repair on the push rod support above the air intake. There appears to be a repair patch on the outside ... moreof the water tank but there is no evidence of this on the inside. The engine appears complete. I have not tried to start it. Fairbanks Morse Z 1 1/2 & 2 HP Hit Miss Gas Engine Starting Hand Crank ZC 3 HP
This is a Very Nice Hand Crank That Fit's many of the Smaller Fairbanks Morse Stationary/ Farm engines with the 1 3/8" shaft. These include the Headless. Dishpan& Spoke Flywheel 1 1/2& 2 HP engine along with the 3 HP ZC. Will also work on any brand engine with the proper shaft size. It is in GOOD SHAPE with a GOOD SPRING& CATCH. The spring has been replaced. Any? be sure to ask BEFORE BIDDING. I can not find any casting# on this one. THANKS
