For your consideration a vintage 1930's Fairbanks Morse lighted sign. Fresh from a local estate. It has a glass lighted front with a metal case. It can be wall or window hung or will sit level on its three leg base. It measures 14" in diameter by 5" in depth. An excellent addition to any vintage or advertising collection or if you just want to own a neat old sign. I am selling this item with no reserve. This very old repair parts list No. 8621A is a complete original. Not a copy. All pages are present and legible, but front and back covers have detached. Also included is an insert, detailing the instructions for starting and running that says"TACK UP THIS CHART NEAR YOUR ENGINE" Insert is in MUCH better condition than parts list. Here is a crank handle for a Fairbanks Morse ZD engine. It is in quite good condition. Supposedly these are hard to find items. I guess most people throw them away after they slip and hit their knuckles and ankles(ask me how I know) Yes. There are ways around starting a ZD, but nothing beats a complete engine. Old Fairbanks Morse Railroad Car Hit Miss Gas Engine Watch Fob Steam Tractor WOW
This is a very rare original watch fob from the Fairbanks Morse Company showing their railroad speeder car. It measures about 1 1/4 inches in diamter and is in great shape for being 100 years old. It has some characteristic wear from its years of service but just enough to give it character. It shows the car on the front along with"Fairbanks Morse Gasoline Motor Car" and the back says"Fairbanks Morse& Company. Railroad Supplies, Chicago" on the back. This would be fine addition to your Fairbanks Morse or fob collection. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it likely won't be this nice. The pictures tell the story. Old Rare French Fairbanks Morse Z Hit Miss Gas Engine Sales Poster Steam Oiler
This is a very rare original French sales brochure for the Fairbanks Morse Z gas engines. It measures about 3 3/4 x 6 inches and unfolds to a nice poster size of 11 1/4 x 18 inches. It is in good condition with minor wear and creasing. It has very detailed illustrations. It shows many different configurations of the engines and has specifications of the engines from 1 1/2 to 20 horsepower. This sales brochure would be a fine addition to your early engine literature collection. It would also look great framed and displayed with your Fairbanks Morse engine at the shows. I have owned many pieces of original sales literature and have seen alot more but I've never seen this particular piece. I don't think there's many left to be found out in the wild. Old Fairbanks Morse Pioneers Book Hit Miss Gas Engine Windmill Pump Scale NICE!!
This is a very neat original book published in 1945 entitled"Pioneers in Industry. Fairbanks Morse and Company 1830-1945" It measures about 9 x 12 inches and has 160 pages. It is in good condition for its age with some general wear and a loose binding but the inside pages are in excllent condition. It has chapters on scales, windmills, pumps, railroad equipment, gasoline engines, motors, diesel engines and more. It has a second part with chapters on World War II and an overview of the company in 1945. The book is heavily illustrated and has some excellent reading in it! This is a pretty scarce book and would be a fine addition to your early industrial literature collection especially if you like Fairbanks Morse engines, scales, windmills, or machinery in general. Old Spiegel Chainsaw Fairbanks Morse Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a very unique and rather hard to find original Spiegel chainsaw. It seems to be in very good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has a big 20 inch bar on it. It has a Fairbanks Morse recoil which needs some minor attention as it doesn't retract all the way and it also needs the link between the finger throttle hooked back up. The pieces seem to be there to do it. It turns over nicely with super compression and I'm sure it wouldn't take much to make noise with it! I will remove the bar to make it easier to package for shipping. It has some nice original paint on it and would be a fine addition to your early chainsaw collection. This is a pretty nice original sales catalog for the Fairbanks Morse Type Y Horizontal Oil or Diesel engines. It measures about 8 1/2 x 11 inches and has 20 pages including the covers. It is jam packed full of information and specifications for these engines and has a lot of information about the special features and auxiliary equipment that was available for them. It is in good condition with some minor wear and soiling and also some pencil notations that was likely a price quote for a 20hp engine. It would be a fine addition to your early engine advertising collection especially if you have one of the Y engines. It would also look great displayed with your engine at the shows. Rare 1/2 Scale Fairbanks Morse 1A Eclipse Hit Miss Steam Gas Engine Model Oiler
Wow! What a great find. Just picked this up at a local flea market in a box and in pieces. A 1/2 scale Fairbanks Morse 1A Model Engine. It appears to have some work done but needs to be completed! It has a piston and rod and seems to have good compression. The valves are nicely done and cam is good. The flywheels are round and true. They measure 7" diameter. Total engine height is 12" There are no cracks or breaks to be found. The pictures tell the story. I have done some research on these and couldn't find a lot of information. These were made about 25 to 30 or so years ago and not many were casted. This would be a great project for a collector. I will ship to anywhere worldwide. If shipped outside the United States. The engine will be dis-assembled to fit in a flat rate box and will be packaged well.

Up for auction is a Fairbanks Morse 3 hp ZC-52 Throttle governed engine. This engine is complete and in great shape. It also runs very well. To restore it. It would need very little if anything. Maybe only cleaning and painting. It is mounted to the trailer which is also included in the auction. The trailer comes with a spare tire and has a nice custom stained box mounted on the trailer that says"Darn Tootn" The magneto is hot. It includes the crank handle. The only thing that i am not sure about is the condition of the gas tank. I have just been running if from the cup on the carb. I have no reason to believe that there is anything wrong with the tank but i am not going to say without knowing for sure. I really just believe it would need cleaning. Up for auction is a crank handle that fits any engine with a 1-3/8" crank shaft. I know it fits a 1-1/2hp Fairbanks dishpan and regular and 3hp zc-52 Fairbanks but im not sure what else it might fit. The handle is in great shape but it is missing the pawl and spring. These can be easily made or puchased from a reproduction place. It has no cracks or repairs. It has a part number that i think says ZA738B but i cant tell because it is filled with paint and i dont want to scratch it off. Up for auction is a galvinized fuel tank for a Fairbanks Morse 1-1/2 hp engine. It is designed to sit on top of the wooden skids. The tank does not have any holes in it and would be ready to mount on your engine. It has been brazed some around the cap but is a pretty good job. If it were painted you wouldnt notice it. Old Fairbanks Morse J Allis Chalmers Tractor Magneto Hit Miss Engine Steam Oiler
This is an original Fairbanks Morse Type J4B73 four cylinder flange mount magneto for an Allis Chalmers tractor. Power unit, or other application. It is clockwise rotation and the impulse works perfectly. The magneto is fresh out of the estate of an early Allis Chalmers collector. It is untested for spark. It does need a distributor cap as there are a couple issue areas on it but it would probably work the way it is. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs anywhere else on it. 1 1/2hp FAIRBANKS MORSE Z BATTERY BOX ORIGINAL NICE GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS
This is a real nice original steel BATTERY BOX for a 1 1/2hp FAIRBANKS MORSE Z engine. Bolts to the side of the hopper and top of skid. It is complete with the knife switch. Original coil, original plug wire. This is a nice straight box and is rust free. This is the nicest original box I have seen. Even the original wood on the bottom is in good shape. Even the old plug wire is in good usuable condition. Lid opens and closes and it has the original latch to keep the lid closed. Knife switch works great. Has a standard model T coil inside which slides into a slot. Didnt check it for spark but I quickly hooked a battery charger to the wires and the coil buzzed strong. The only issue I saw is the bolt hole on the back side where it bolts to the hopper. Looks like the bolt may have pulled through and broke a small piece of the metal out probably ... morefrom vibration. Looks like it could be fixed with a large flat washer on the inside and it wont be seen after its mounted on the engine. Really a good solid box which will look great on that original engine or paint it for your restored engine. Original Irvin Fairbanks Morse Z Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Toy Steam Tractor
This is an original Fairbanks Morse diecast toy made by Irvin's Model Shop several years ago. They were made in limited numbers and aren't real easy to find today. This particular model looks very much like an Arcade cast iron toy. It is cast aluminum and is in good shape for it's age with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. The flywheels move as they should. It measures about 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 and is 2 inches tall. It has some nicks and paint chips on it from being played with but that's just enough to give it some character. These are fairly tough to find in the wild and don't even turn up that often here on Ebay. It would be a nice addition to your early toy collection especially if you like or have hit and miss engines. The pictures tell the story. You'll like it. Good Luck.

Nice original Fairbanks Morse type R magneto in very good condition. Includes a magneto gear and breather plate for a Fairbanks Morse Model Z Style D. The magneto has very good blue spark just turning it by hand. The body is in excellent shape with no cracks or repairs. The point cover has some wear to it. Not sure what happened there. Also the gear has been repaired in two places. It looks like a good repair and may have run this way. The pot metal is very nice with no aging cracks. Both mounting ears are good. The bushings are good with very little play. The teeth on the gear are excellent. This magneto was also used on the Dishpan style engine as well as many other Fairbanks Z engines. Original Fairbanks Morse 2hp T Hit Miss GAS Engine Magneto Steam Tractor NICE!!
This is an outstanding original 2hp Fairbanks Morse Vertical T hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos. It is very unusual in that it is a factory natural gas engine as it came from the factory. It has a very unique fuel system on it. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can find or know of. It has the original muffler, and correct early style Michigan cylinder oilers and belt pulley on it. It is on a homemade cart that makes it easy to move around. It has a gear driven water pump and screen cooler that is not original but work as they should. Nothing on the engine was altered to add these and they could easily be removed if you didn't like them. This engine has tons of original paint on the crankcase and flywheels. I believe the cylinder and head were repainted MANY years ago and the ... morepaint matches perfect. It is actually flaking off of the the original nickel paint that was used on the head at the factory. This engine has excellent compression and very little wear in the bearings or anywhere. A previous owner went through it very thoroughly and ran it at several shows. I've never run it but see no reason that it wouldn't start right up. These are very desirable engines and this unique one would be a sure attention getter at the shows! These engines don't turn up for sale very often and they are almost never this nice and original. The pictures really tell the story on this one. You won't be disappointed in any way! I can deliver this engine to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, Coolspring, PA, or a few auctions around the country later this year for free. This is a very hard to find original Fairbanks Morse Dealer Catalog from 1922. It measures about 6 x 9 inches and has 66 pages. It shows all of the Z engines including the new"dishpan" model. It is heavily illustrated and shows engines. Air compressors, corn shellers, light plants, feed grinders, mills, feed cutters, pumps and pump jacks, washing machines, windmills, and wood saws. It has all of the specifications and features of many of the products. It is a great reference book and would be a fine addition to your early engine or agricultural advertising library. It would also look great displayed with your engine or equipment at the shows. It is in good condition for it's age with no missing pages. The binding is a bit separated from the stack but there are no loose pages.
