RARE MAYTAG ?? HIT & MISS GAS ENGINE estate stationary motor ser# 456990
Here I have a vintage Maytag motor right from an estate sale I am no expert on these. This motor turns over and has compression looks to be all complete and in good condition as the pictures show there is a piece of the frame work broken out. Serial# 456990 on the outer side of the fly wheel. 1936 to 1941 Briggs and Stratton model WM gas engine
This auction is for a Briggs and Stratton model WM gas engine. According to my reference search this would be a small 1/2 hp motor for a washing machine era 1936 to 1941. Pretty much the same era of the old Cushman motor scooter origins. This has the data plate on it showing the type. Model, and serial number. I don't know much about these type engines but I can turn it by hand and can feel the cycle of the piston so it is not stuck. It has a Champion sparkplug. The little carb is intact and comes with a gas tank. This is rope start. Please take a look at the photos and email me with any questions. I prefer for a pickup here in Denver. 4 Antique Cast Iron Scale Wheels for Hit Miss Gas Engine Cart, 5 in, old vintage
Here is a great set of 4 matching antique cast iron wheels. They each have 6 spokes that curve slightly. Giving them an attractive look. These wheels are 5 inches in diameter with a 1 7/16 inch tread or rolling surface. The axle hole is 11/16 inches in diameter. When we got them they were rusty, but we have cleaned the rust off of them with a wire brush and buffing pad. A small amount of light rust remains in the center holes and in between the spokes. These wheels are embossed with PA13 on one of the spokes. They came off of an old industrial scale cart. They would be perfect for a hit and miss engine cart, antique machinery display, or industrial furniture project.

This listing is for ONE(1) used original equipment Cummins QSM11M Sherwood G1810 Sea Water pump in proper working condition. I have 2 pumps available) Pumps were working properly with no leaks or issues at the time they were removed. Pump has a total of 775 hours and were removed prior to a long summer trip just to be certain of one less thing that could go wrong but they will likely go a great deal further without trouble. The impellor was replaced last summer and has less then 100 hours use. I will also included one extra used impellor per pump that appears in good usable condition- good for an emergency at the very least. This offering is for what looks to be a New old Stock tank top plate but in reality it is a used part. Its just been cleaned up. The cleaned up ones like pictured are Sand Blasted NOT bead blasted. ANTIQUE 1929 MAYTAG RESTORED 92 GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS WRINGER WASHER
Up for bid is a very nice Maytag Model 92 Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 405411 stamped on it which was in production in October 1- December 30. 1929. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also used to restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and sand blasted and bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont Maytag original color code. I take a lot of pride in these motors and I like to do a little extra detailing like the lettering and some of the numbers as you can see in the pictures, I think it makes the motor's stand out better. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley or air cleaner or kill switch. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug wire with new ... moreends, new spark plug, caution plate and kill switch. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. Magnet ring was recharged as well and throws a real nice hot spark. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. After putting it all back together I ran 1 tank of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. The kick gear has been welded and repaired it is normal for this model to do so. I cannot put a warranty on these motors do to the age of them BUT I will guarantee it will run great for you when you get it and keep running well. I have sold a lot of motors and washers and never had a complaint yet. My friend deals in Maytag motor parts and he took the carburetor apart cleaned and rebuilt it and also rebuilt the ignition plate putting a new condenser on. He also takes pride with his work. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. The buyer agrees to pay an extra $35.00 packing fee. This engine was built in 1911 I believe. It is amazing it has survived all of the scrap iron drives over the years. with the cast iron muffler and exhaust pipe it weighs almost 7000# I have the muffler and it is included there was no room for the muffler the way I had the engine mounted on the old Diamond T truck.The truck was a good platform for moving the engine in and out of the shop or taking the engine to the county fair. The truck is not included but is for sale separately. It has been stored inside. There are no cracks or welds on the engine. And it is complete with the original paint and the drive clutch. the drive clutch has a repair on it. the fuel pump. Injector and automatic oilier all work. The engine runs smoothly and starts good. I start it with compressed air on jet a fuel. Which is basically kerosene, then switch it over ... moreto#1 diesel. When it is running it is loud and belches a lot of smoke. Will draw a large crowd, make little girls hide behind their mothers,make the mothers squeal and old men laugh. Up for sale is a complete Volvo Penta stern drive diesel setup. This engine/drive has aprox 532 hours on it from new and is in outstanding condition. It was removed from my 25' Grady-White Sailfish due to stern and hull delamination. I was so pleased with this setup that I purchased a Carolina Classic that already had a Volvo diesel in it. It pushed the Grady-White@ 28 knots and burned 7.5 Gallons of fuel an hour. This is a complete running package and comes with engine. Drive, Full instrumentation package with harness and keys. Also comes with digital tilt trim guage and control panel, and all harnesses. IHC McCormick Deering Type M Throttle Governed Gas Engine
Up for auction here is a nice all original IHC McCormick Deering Type M throttle governed gas engine. I see no cracks breaks or welds on this engine. From what I can read on the tag. The serial number is W11863. The only thing I found missing is the short gas line that connects to the fuel bowl. The mag is hot and produces a good spark. There is also very good compression. The engine has all of its grease cups, the oiler, and the hand crank. This engine will need to be picked up here in Epworth, IA. within 2 months after auction is ended. I will not ship this unless buyer takes care of all arrangements. Please feel free to ask me any questions.

I poured a little 2 cycle gas/oil in the cylinder and it fired right up and ran well. Needs a good cleaning. Gas tank does have a small dent on the top near corner, see pictures.
