It weighs almost 15 lbs. unpacked. The ... morecase laying down is 12 3/4" wide x 13 3/4" deep x 6" tall. The wood case has scratches from use and one tiny chip. Shown in the pictures, but is intact. The AC cord is dried out and should be replaced. The"line adjust" control and knob are missing, the 2 wires that were attached to it inside are taped off. The cabinet had 2 sets of 4 rubber feet originally. The four when sitting horizontally are all removed. There is one of the four missing for vertical position. It looks like there was a metal label on the outside gone as well. I don't see why someone with a little electronics savvy wouldn't be able to fix this with little effort.

Bob's Template Another great estate sale find! This DAY RAD DayRad TRI-TEST TUBE TESTER. Is from the 1930's. I believe it is working. I plugged it in and the meter indicator needle moved to the center position. I pressed the test button and the needle went all the way left to the BAD position. It looks like someone added battery power to it. If you look to the left you will see what i am saying. Down in the that compartment were 3 Rayovac D"leak proof" batteres. AND THEY DID NOT LEAK. It comes with the original probes and the ac dord is good. The wood case is made of OAK wood and is dove tailed. Nice tester! I will combine shipping on multiple listings. B& K Dyna Jet Tube Tester- Model#606 Working vintage 1970's tube tester. Good condition with a few flaws- please read description. This is in pretty good shape for it's age. The plastic rim around the top cap is broken- it will still plug on and make connection fine. There is some damage where the electrical cord(that plugs into the wall) comes out of the testing unit, the rubbery coating around that is loose. This unit measures 11" x 8.5" and is 4.5" deep(when all closed up) The case shows wear. The snap closure works perfect and keeps the unit secure. The hinges on the back are in great shape as well as the 4 metal feet on the back of the case. The setup chart manual is 50 pages, it is very worn, the cover and back have seperated. Up for auction is this great Hickok 600A Dynamic Mutual Conductance tube tester. It is overall in great condition with only light scratching on the top cover as shown. The front face with the controls is in great condition. All of the knobs are in place and the roll chart works good too. As for the working condition. I am not sure but it plugged it in and could get a reading with the line adjustment although the meter movement sticks some. I did not attempt to test any tubes but I'm sure with some TLC this could be made into a great tester for you. good working vintage U-TEST-EM stationary floor model electron tube tester
SquareTrade © AP6.0 1960 vintage U-Test-Em model 1901 stationary tube tester. 58 1/2" tall x 21" wide x 20" front to back. Sheet metal cabinet has locking door on the bottom with slide out tray shelves. There are 5 tray slots but only 2 trays. Cabinet is in fair cosmetic condition but equipment appears to be good working. Glass insert on the cabinet base door is cracked. Glass panel with advertising is missing from the overhead light section. Some minor surface rust and wear and on the cabinet. For testing Efficiency. Plug the tube into the correct socket and allow 30 seconds to warm up. Meter should read at the chart indicated value or higher. I tested several tubes and the values appear reasonable. I have a brand new 6U7 tube which shows a value of 50 on the cabinet chart and the meter tests at 55. I have a used 6K7 ... morewhich should test at 50 but only registers 40. Shorts or gas leaks should light up on the panel but none of the tubes I tested appear to be faulty in that respect. There is a toggle power switch mounted on the panel, however, the only way to turn off the overhead light is to unplug the unit. Pretty neat and usable unit. For local pick up here in York, PA 17406. Test sockets for 8 pin octal and loctal tubes and 7,9 pin miniature tubes. All controls, sockets and switches have been cleaned. All capacitors, diodes and some resistors were replaced. The cabinet has a lot of small rips in the cloth covered wood cabinet. The roll chart works end to end, but sometimes will require extra effort near the ends. Vintage Knight 400 tube checker. I don't know how to test this so it has NOT been tested. When I moved the power switch from hi to lo I did notice a blink of orange light. Light up for a quick second underneath the meter. All switches click when moving up or down. The test switch on the right that reads SHORT& VALUE does not click it's more like a spring button. So the switch always stays on SHORT and when you bring it down to VALUE you need to hold it and if let go it goes back to SHORT. Now the 2 big knobs. The knob that reads FILAMENT clicks when turning and the knob that reads LOAD does not click when turning. Vintage Hickok model 209. All tubes are there. The wire was worn and brittle broke off at the unit. So I could not test it. Appears complete. I have the wire, but a 3 prong should be installed. vintage Precision Apparatus 954-G Electronamic Tube tester This is a model 954-G Electronamic Tube and Set Tester made probably back in the 40's or 50's. Wooden case is in very good condition with no loose finger joints or deep gashes. All the knobs and buttons seem to operate properly. But I have not done any extensive testing of the unit. I believe it to be in need of some TLC and minor repair/ adjustment. Electrical schematic included. Buyer pays actual cost for shipping plus a $2.00 handling fee.
